@TheDaddyscat A manga is a comic book. This anime is just an animation of a comic book called Ginga: Densetsu WEED, GDW for short.The forum at GingaSite has an upload link to the RAW GDW manga. With RAW I mean that it hasn't been translated. GingaSite has only translated the beginning of the manga for the time being.

Actually he is. I ordered Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion (sequel to weed manga) and Jerome is alive WITH PUPS AND A MATE! GB is dead though. He died the end of the Weed manga.

In the Manga, Weedo meets a Kishu Named Koyuki, whom becomes his mate. She later gives birth to 4 pups and the main one is orion, and they are been talking adout making an orion anime
