This is what happens to people that never go outside or get away from internet gaming in their parents basement...They are amazed and shocked at pictures like this.
The thunderbird was a giant condor. There have been reports of sightings but it probably went extinct before the arrival of white men. There is an outside chance that a small population still exists in the peruvian andes but if it does its rarely ever seen.
it's realy a hybrid of eagles they look alike but thunderbirds are rare and hue 20-50 feet they reach 50 any more but they use to there still around keep thinking their not and u might .......................................
Yes. The Thunderbird is real. However, many of those were pictures of an Eagle. The Thunderbird only shows itself at dusk, dawn, and late at night. It never shows itself during the day, and for a good reason. Or it would get shot.
@Dichtsau Lol. That is a common misconception of the Thunderbird. O-o Though, it does produce a form of electricity, it's not anything like "Lightening" really. But it does send our burst of Electrical Energy, which looks like lightening, and that can scare the crap out of peole. Because, according to those who have seen it, the electrical charge send out a loud boom. Somewhat like a Sonic Boom. x.X
Thunderbirds are just oversized eagles that hunt down anything large such as medium size dogs, calves, foals, sheeps, goats, other thunderbirds, and probably small children.
My theory on the subject is that the case in question (Thunderbird) Does indeed exist. But for the most part lives at high altitudes, Feeding on the billions of insects that migrate in the upper atmosphere. I honestly think that a Filter Feeding Bird can exist, And may only come to the ground for nesting purposes. It's proven that they did exist at one point, And not to long ago. The only question is, Do they still? I believe so, But they're more rare than bigfoot. So proving it is a burden.
@ChannelMuzic I remember reading a few accounts of large birds that had been sighted in central Illinois, I think in the 60's or 70's (though it may have been much earlier in the 1900's). I can't remember exactly where I read this, but one particular incident involved a young boy who was actually picked up by one of these birds, while playing in the yard, and he was carried about 30' feet before he was dropped. Luckily from only 10 or 15 feet. He wasn't seriously hurt, just really scared!
Well to tell you the truth the Thunderbird is real or was. Now the second one to me looks like some kind of eagle though this thing is big. It may be a big eagle or possibly another bird but it isn't the Thunderbird.
eaglles dont get that big idk but i think i saw a thunderbird be4 heres my story
be4 we raised a baby squirrel till it was an adult then we let it go as squeeker(what we named him)was heading tward our tree with a tire on it so tire swing a giant and i mean giant bird swooped down grabbed him and my daddy ran out there and saved squeeker and squeeker lived i hope he is still alive im not sure he was sure a rootin tootin cutie pie lol
Thunderbirds are real. Infact there are five of them....Thunderbird 1, Thunderbird 2, Thunderbird 3, Thunderbird 4 and Thunderbird 5. THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!
lol a thunderbird..what would one even look like..i dont think itd look like an eagle.or buzzard.but i like to think, that if they were real, theyd look like golden electrified pheonixs
Your second picture is of a Steller's Sea Eagle. In case you were wondering the background looks like it is Alaska if so they might have migrated from japan.
1st is a statue. As a birder, the 2nd is a CLASSIC Turkey Vulture(who are rather big in wingspan&body, like Ospreys) --I see these TV's everyday around where I live.
The 3rd, definitely a kind of eagle(Animal Planet guru), but not an American one, so I'm not sure what it is..also 'cause of the blurriness!
The next--no fricking idea(that insidious blur!!) They're high-risers, like eagles &vultures..most likely one of the condors if not an eagle species.
a Thunderbird is the size of a small plain and when it flaps its wings its supposed to create thunder noises ive done a lot of studdy on these thing as a hobby i know sad but if youre going to pose pictures of these birds as the Thunderbird you might want to try useing the same bird and holding something up to compare size these pictures are either eagles or voltures or hocks
You know what, I swear to god I saw a bird just fuckin like that around San Francisco when I was like 5, Me and my cousin were playing four square in Vallejo and then I saw a Huge shadow come out of no where and I saw A bird I think actually bigger than that and I saw other birds next to it flying that looked puny and I saw it again when I was seven on my way to my Aunt's house. :P
@dustinrock123 American Indian legends of giant birds snatching their children= Thunderbirds, cuz of the loud noise they made with their huge wings I suppose.
this is also not a golden eagle at all as golden eagle's are all brown with a yellow beak about the same size as a bald eagle. I had though it was phones of a snake eagle but the tail feathers are wrong Google search eagle and all you will find are bald eagle's dam Americans filling the internet with nothing but things involving them.
Actually the Stellar's Eagle has a solid colored wing on the bottom, with small white patches on the leading edge. Second pic looks like a common Turkey Vulture. Other pics are impossibly poor quality.
