am not a serato or traktor hater they are the only softwares that save money in the long run where vinyl and albums come and u can still preform like a dj control the music.

years ago decks was a gift to have and learning was serious and being better than other dj's was a must! but now adays dj wona bes by laptops and dj software and think there dj's some people by decks and think there dj's wrong! you are only a dj if you know what ur doing on turntables and controlling music properly without softwares to help you period!

@DJJohndice He's using Serato which (without going into boring details) means that if you jog the needle by a few grooves it carries on playing from where it lost contact. The vinyls just have a digital control tone which controls the mp3 thats loaded into Serato on his laptop which gets played back through the mixer.

Having said all that, I use the same set-up but I still couldn't step to this. JFB is siiiiick. I've seen him play live and his hands DO actually move that fast!
