  • i want a sugar glider the're soooo cute and fuzzy haha

  • u try to make it a hedgehog?

  • You don't know whether it is ok to wake them up or not. We don't know that about sugar gliders. For dogs, mice and humans for example it is stressful, so you might not ever encounter a problem but decrease the immune system, so that get sick a little more easily... it's hard to tell. I'd say avoid waking them, it certainly has no benefit for them.

  • opposums are marsupials

  • They've never cost $4000 Wtf!!!

  • @225maine Maybe they meant $400? lol

  • @225maine ya it will cost $4000 there is a mosaic coloring that costs $5000

  • @95 hampsterlover no it is NOT IN THE OPPOSUM family... Its a marsupial. Its in the same family as kangeroos incredibly

  • Awww cutest little thing ever! What family of animal is it from? Gerbil, squirrel, etc?

  • @95hamsterlover

A Sugar Glider is a small Gliding Possum from Australia.

  • How much to these bugers cost? I want one, but the pet stores around my place don't sell exotic pets like this.

  • @Wolfgirl2help They can cost anywhere from 150-4000$. It depends on the coloring.

  • HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! I WANT ONE… RIGHT NOW :O

  • are you sure its alive

  • Its tiny little hands almost look human. The Sugar Gliders are so sweet.

  • Is it dead? Oh, nope. He was just sleepin :P

  • how did you get it so comfortable with you?

  • haha hes posed with his claws and feet out so cute!

  • How did you catch it? I tried to catch this Pokemon on a Ultraball .

Maybe i need to catch it in Masterball cuz its so amazing and awesome?

  • so cute haha

  • @TheAnimealsCrewP While they are in the pockets i put my hands in and cup them in my palms while i walk around. The more they smell you the better. Although my bratty glider dosn't fully trust me, if someone else is holding him he will jump to me; he just wont let my pick him up, haha. I carry them around all day long, and don't worry they sleep the entire time. Don't leave your glider in its cage all day, carry it around, you can zip it in a pouch or pocket if there are problems.

  • @HipHopDancerGirl20 I had a leash, my female could unzip the pouch, rarely got out tho, refused to leave me, would rush to me if I handed her off, I had her for years before my ex got her, in hopes my son would spend time with it. I miss my glider, would like another. I got a bunch of leashes left, I made about 20.

  • @Maples01 leashes is a no no these animals glide if they try to glide with a leash it will strangle them how would you like it if someone tied you up and you couldn't glide THINK ABOUT THE ANIMAL I feel sorry for the gliders you had with leashes :( I got a glider of my own and I don't have leashes just the pouch that is all I need

  • @pantherflutekid I leashed her when we left the house, she didn't live on it, she was absolutely fine. I kept an eye on her, the leash was to let me keep her from running, she was able to glide at home. I had her get hot in the pouch and bail in a store once, she didn't jump, wouldn't have been able to as I could catch her, seems you think she was lashed down and able to get snatched back. I did think about her, she had left abuse by previous owners!

  • @Maples01 ok I see what your saying see I don't do that when I take my girl out she will be in her pouch or in my bra(she is 100% bra baby)and she stays there once in awhile she sticks her head out so see whats up its so cute :P but she never tried to run from me :)

  • @pantherflutekid I tend to generate a lot of heat, so she gets overheated and has to get out, since she was really anti-social, didn't want around public, there was a reason she'd get out to be seen. She bonded with me the second I got her out of the pouch when given to me, previous owner called her bitch, said no one could handle her, I thought I had the male, but they were amazed it was her in my hand, no biting, or fussing, layed over getting her belly rubbed, chattering her teeth

  • there is different kinds of gliders which mean different prices the standard gray is $300 maybe lower which is the cheapest than the rest depending on the breeder

  • @TheAnimealsCrewP A few techniques that i am using may be different than what books and pro's tell you. At first i kept them in a bonding bag and wore it with the window on my skin. Later i began putting my hand inside with them and petting them for a while while i watched tv, or worked on my schoolwork. Now i can reach into my bag without a problem. Next i wore my jacket around for days so that it would stink of me and i put them in my pockets.

  • @TheAnimealsCrewP It really depends on the personality of the sugar glider. I'm sure you are doing everything right; it can take a short time for some and a long time for others. I recently got two gliders. One has come to trust me within less than a week and i'm sure that soon we will be fully bonded. The other is shy and untrusting and has crabbed at me and bittne me a few times. So it all depends on their personality. Keep bonding and i'm sure it will bond with you in time.

  • OMG

    what pokeball did you use????

  • @TheAnimealsCrewP

    get a bonding pouch.

get an old shirt, wear it for the whole day, wipe it all over your face afterwords.

then rip a piece off, leave it in the pouch, wear your pouch over your heart.

try to pet him inside the pouch, if he starts crabbing then dont pet him, just stroke the outside of the pouch until he stops. then try again inside.

its a long delicate process, but thats the time that you need to put in with these animals.

  • peek a boo

  • Let me guess, they're called sugar gliders becuase they are the sweetest things in existence?

  • @MissMysterics and they can glide

  • do you Have to buy them in pairs or can you buy separately ? will it affect their mood / happiness if you have just one? x

  • its dead? 0.0

  • *Holding onto imaginary giant cookie*

  • cute

  • How did you get him so chill, mine are all bonded to me but none of em will let me hold em like that. Is that the only one you own? I have five of em its so weird how they all have differnt personalities

  • he must sleep during the day ... this is not the right thing

  • They wake at times during the day to snack you dope; you also want to trim their nails early in the morning when they are really sleepy.

Waking them up a little here and there is not going to kill them.

  • You're right. My sugar glider book says there is nothing wrong with waking them up. If they're tired they'll go back to sleep.

  • How long , how many days does it take to tame a baby?

  • You don't return them for another because it won't bond to you!!!..It's your responsibility to take care of the animal after you've already brought it home. It's not a piece of clothing you return because it does'nt fit you!!!

  • After a month if its not bonded to you and your doing EVERYTHING YOU CAN to bond with it then the sugar glider might just not want to be bonded with you. Its sort of like a forced marriage. If you were forced to marry someone you like it but the other person doesn't your not just going to force them to stay with you.

  • no sugar gliders take 1month to 3 months to fully bond with a person. and if there scared or agressive it could take longer. anyways hwestas a noob

  • Did i ever say fully bond? You ignorant asshole can you read before you speak? the first signs of bonding should be up to 1 month to 3 months. And look whose obviously like 13 years old and telling me that i'm a "noob". Your an immature child. Grow up.

  • i feel the same way but lol im a 13 yr old and i know way more about sugar gliders than he does,,,what a jerk

  • If you bond to a glider using the correct methods and being very patient, it shouldn't take too long. Up to a month yes, however there is no need to return it if it doesn't bond after a month. It is merely proof that your practices aren't working, and that you should change tactics.

  • There's a reason why someone who got a glider from someone who took that advice wouldn't bond to anyone! If it's being passed around from home to home, there's no way it'd really be able to think that whoever their with THIS time will be their forever home! Sometimes it can take several months for them to bond, but sometimes the longer it takes, the more rewarding each little step is.

  • your first signs of bonding should be up to a month. in 3 days it should at least recognize its cage and know its a safe place. And sometimes a suggie just not want to bond with one particular person. have you ever thought of that?

  • I got my gliders when they were almost a year old, and they didn't get a DAY of bonding time, so they were PETRIFIED of humans. It took several months before I could put them in their bonding pouch without several layers of fleece between my hand and them.

  • He's all like: It wasn't me, man! I swear! I give up! With his paws up in the air

    Haha. He's adorable!

  • where's his tail?

  • aww hes tryin got sleep that is sooo freakin cute!!!

  • So precious! I love this vid!

  • he looks so damn cute >.<
