Derek is a great competitor... but Pudzianowski is in a league of his own. It was a close competition this year, but Marius pulled through and won his fifth Worlds Strongest Man title (with a torn calf muscle). He has achieved what no one else ever has. Derek Poundstone came in a close second, he almost won. I don't think marius was on top of his game this year, he can do better... I think he has a couplke more years in him.

Okay... Derek Poundstone is a full time cop as well as a strongman. Is that enough of a "REAL life and career" for you? Simply put, he is able to make money and support himself as well as train and compete at the highest levels. You should watch the other video where he talks in the beginning about people always having excuses for things. What's the difference between the WSM Super series, grand prix and WSM competition? Are they all separate events or are they all one thing? If so, where can you look up the scores of all these events?

WSM superseries leads up to the WSM final.. that is all METRX WSM. The Grand Prix is IFSA, which is a seperate strongman organization.

Mariusz was the shadow of himself that night. He was pretty laid-back. He'll have plenty of occasions to beat POundstone. I like Derek a lot too, what a nice guy! But I'm still rooting for Mariusz.
