Its no shame at all. you also have to remeber that six cancer patients who are bald for no good reason just got a chance to feel somewhat normal while they are fighting for their lives. My mother in law went through that, lost her hair (and it was beautiful long and curly) from the breast cancer she was fighting. She did not recieve a wig, she wore a bandana and hat and had to deal with people looking and asking questions. these woman dont have to go through that it grows back.

Actually, you don't wash all the hair, only the scalp. You should have natural oils that are smoothed down your hair when you brush. My hair is the healthiest it's ever been. Wash the hair every 2-3days. Pin it up to wash the rest of me every day. It's now past my waist and thick the whole way down! No stragglers here! :)

Locks of Love is a scam! They have been cited by the Better Business Bureau for numerous complaints about their practices. 98% of the hair that gets donated is thrown away. If you want to help cancer patients, donate to the American Cancer Society or a similar charity and keep your long hair!

yep i totally agree. I had butt length hair until a week ago when i got it cut to half way down my back, but that was entirely my choice because i was getting sick of it. but these ladies didn't even get good haircuts! they were literally hacked off! it was cut uneven and if they wanted it even they would have to get it even shorter, and to have that much cut off is pretty dramatic as it is, trust me, i have had my hair forcefully cut to a pixie crop from just below shoulder length long hair.
