I see why some are disappointed but he is BOB BARR. What is he supposed to say don't vote for me? I feel like Ron Paul and Barr etc are really in favor of little or no GOV but are still politicians and maybe are naively thinking they can change things but in the long run they mean well.
Move to New Hampshire. During primary season, presidential candidates will be offering to personally mow your lawn followed by the oral sex. Google "Free State Project".
I think he didn't really know who he was talking to, actually. I think he didn't hear the interviewer correctly, and didn't realize he was supposed to be speaking to anarchist-libertarians. He said absolutely nothing about anarchism at all. I would be very interested to hear what he thinks about the more radical elements of libertarianism.
I actually explained it to him a couple of times- once early on and gave him a little time to think about what to say, and then again right before the statement. I think he made a generic safe political statement about what he thought would be appealing- putting aside differences to shrink government. I reminded him that many anarchists remain political active and that there are a lot of non-anarchists as well who view my site.
sure it did. It showed that even KNOWING that he was speaking to an anarchist, the "libertarian" candidate could only call for more of the same. I can think of no more ringing endorsement of our perspective than this.
I was gonna vote Chuck Baldwin, he went to the DC rally! But, I admired Barr's words when he spoke at the "impeachment" hearing, I mean Presidential Powers hearing
"I want to return people's faith in government."- Bob Barr
This guy is not for liberty, he is for winning. Barr is just a washed up Rep. that suckered all the Libertarian political junkies into voting for him.
voting is gay

Anyone who refers to himself in the third person is suspect.

Bloody hell, another guy referring to himself in the third person. And epic fail on winning over any anarchist with that one.

I know. =\ Oh well. I promised him it would go up unedited. He had a chance to say something meaningful and he blew it. *sigh*
