The overheating issue is fixed with recent updates. Also, running applications while charging the phone tears on the battery double up, causing it to heat up, normal for all smartphones. Believe me i'm using one.

MyTouch 4G is pretty much all the android anyone needs- has everything from best of all androids making king of all smartphones still. This guy makes me laugh, it's getting hot!!! Even after only two minutes, no phone should be so hot it's noticeable after only 2 mins. This phone is going to have mayor issues with battery life and usage overall. We all know what happens when computers get overheated- software goes haywire.

I notice every video on this phone people say it's really hot after short use. That does concern me VERY much. I hate to pay a lot for a phone that will burn up battery life too fast or even gets too hot to hold after very short time because I can hold my MyTouch 4G for an hour nonstop use and it's still cool to touch. I have a feeling this phone is going to be the biggest bomb of droids when it literally blows up in someone's face.

@hukiworld You must remember that's a trial version, it is not the definitive. It lags, gets hot, that is normal, it is not the final version. And it is the WMC, so that phone hasn't been used for a couple of minutes, it's been used for hours and hours.

@hukiworld Nah, I think the Samsung Exynos 4210 processor was just an early sample out of the fab when this video was filmed in February at Mobile World Congress. My guess is Samsung had to over-clock it as it was not totally ready yet to be run at 1.2Ghz. But for sure since then, Samsung has probably done all the optimizations to mass produce the chip, and now I am sure it's not running hot and the Gingerbread probably runs 110% smooth on this now.

@hukiworld It's because it's on charge. i've got the final version and I'm not gonna lie it has been hot once or twice and I had a problem with the battery.

The hotness though is really rare and the battery problem was fine after I turned it off 100% brightness and turned off the data, wifi and bluetooth after use.
