The trunnion pins are 5/8" cold roll. I bored the holes for the trunnions into the barrel for a .002 press fit 3/4" deep. They aren't moving. The trunnion holders are 1" x 1 1/2" x 2" long (steel) with a hammered exterior look. Hope this helps. Keep on trying.
Bore is .625 length 16" 2 1/2" dia weighs about 35 lbs makes one h*!! of a bang Wheels were made out of 3" aluminum stock. Currently working on a Napoleonic style cannon. 2 FT long 4 1/2 dia 2" bore barrel weight over 100 lbs. It will take me about 2 years to finish in my spare time.
You should remove the music, it ruins the sound of cannon...

iv made a few cannon's+mortars but my trunnions are much too be desired,i arc weld them on with not good success.
