  • Made me smile . . . .

  • Thank you for this beautiful message. I love listening to your voice. YES! You are correct. My man makes me smile! A black woman smile is beautiful....

  • It really seems that only the older generation remembers.

  • My mother is white and father is Black..... This is the best words ive heard in a long time.... Thank you for letting me see how strong i am

  • @TheDomilover : God bless you and thank you for your kind observation. You have blessed my spirit this day by your gracious words.

    .~Ty Gray-EL

  • That message for all SUCCEFULL BLACK MANS(SINGERS,ATLETHICS,ACTORS...),ignore black woman for marriage with a WHITE WOMAN,just for one reason because they are WHITE.WHAT ABOUT OUR PAST,BLACK WOMAN PAST???

  • @001975aazzaaz : You have to understand that everything pointed out in this poem has affected the attitudes and decision-making of the black man. Slavery, miseducation and Jim Crow have negatively affected all of our behavior. Some of our minds have been poisoned and we must take mental antidotes.

We have to trust God, stay faithful and know that we will get better by and by.

The mere fact that you could even listen to this and appreciate it is a clear and present indicator of our progress.

  • @Breathofmyancestors ,sorry but i don´t agreed with you, nobody respect Black Woman.White Man since Human History and worst Black Man after what Black Woman did and still doing for Black Man.For this reason i said for all succefull Black Man paid attention for every single word said that beautifull man.God bless all black woman,Amen

  • @001975aazzaaz: Forgive me, but I sincerely don't know what you are talking about. I am the author of the poem and would like to engage in serious dialog about it with anyone who is serious, but I honestly can't figure what you are trying to say...sincerely

  • @001975aazzaaz what the heck does this even mean? Grammer check. Verb tense is all wrong, I can't understand a word this says.

Sorry but I don't AGREE with you, nobody RESPECTS black WOMEN...? & even when corrected I still have no clue what this means.

  • @breahmpope : There are a lot of soul-less people walking around today which is how the African in America got in this position in the first place. So I understand your lack of understanding and I forgive your ignorance. This has nothing to do with English literature, grammar or verb tense. This has to do with heart and soul and if your heart is void of compassion you will never understand, for you do not have the capacity. I forgive you nevertheless and pray that God blesses your heart.

  • MAMECMedia Thank you for the tribute. I wish you a long and strong life. Hearing your voice charged with emotion was rewarding, therapeutic and reviving .Lovely!

  • the dignified black women who where taken into slavery and overcame all the obstacles they faced and the black women of america today are not all alike.

rather we see black girls paraded in music videos like whores being pimped by some "sugar daddy" that couldnt care less for women.

i think its a great shame that some black women behave like gangsters and have such rotten attitudes and no self respect, they have forgotten their great angcestors and they shame other black women in society.

  • Yeah, it is sad to see that black women do not understand how beautiful they are, how marvelous we are. I hate getting messages from people trying to treat me like one of the video girls. But I know my worth. No one, no one will tell me what I am worth. I know I am a child of God. I am proud to be a black woman. Whooooo hoooo, with a killer smile BTW :)!

  • We are all alike; coming from the same mould of our ancestors. Our situations in life have made us different. Yes it saddens me to see our young sisters allowing themselves to be exploited but Ill never cast stones at those diamonds in the raw without reaching out a helping hand or offering them alternative work opportunities that empower them and prepare them for the future. You should listen again and then youll understand our dilemmas. After hearing this poem all my thoughts are postive

  • the dilema is not unfamiliar to me, i know perfectly well what it is since im black myself. my opnion of this video is genrally possitive however the reality is quite different some times.

i just hope that alot of black sisters will watch this and realize that they are not physical statues and are precious and worthy.

  • Thank you for the beautiful response. Bless you Bless you and Bless you.

  • thank you and please be safe :)
