  • Ciros was so beautiful, it's a shame the signage today isn't as deco and subtle as back then. Sunset Blvd looks like tacky Las Vegas now.

  • These are all Taquerias now..oh yeah and one is a Pho shop

  • Like another world...

  • Sophie Tucker at Ciro's? Count me in!

  • awesome!!

  • Is the sphinx club still standing to this day?

  • I just found out that the orange Jaguar parked across from Romanoffs was not Bogie's. I guess the 1% got me.

  • @Hevynly1: Humphrey Bogart had a 1949 Jaguar and he used to eat lunch at Romanoff's quite often. I don't know the color of Bogie's Jag, but I'm 99% sure it's his.

  • @DA90027 Ciro's is now the Comedy Store. The original Ciro's sign is in their kitchen!

  • awesome footage, what is Ciros now?

  • Thank you for sharing this amazing video of old Los Angeles. I really wish it still looked like these videos and that these places still existed, as well as the cars! Hope you keep posting more :)

  • @Hevynly1 it's a 1949 Jaguar XK120.

Robert Mitchum used to drive one back then.

International Motors was the authorized Jaguar Dealer in Hollywood and Roger Barlow was its owner.

  • I'm really enjoying all your videos. Top quality!!!

Are you doing a PhD on L.A. History or something??

  • The quality of these clips are unbelievable.

  • This was wonderful!!

Does anyone know what type of car that is around 4:00? The red one.
