thank you for posting this. im working on princess peach for halloween this year and i am so clueless about the poofy sleeves. but thanks for this. :-D
@Julian714011 First, you have to fight a bunch of goombas and other assorted monsters. And then you have to face Bowser in an epic battle. And then you can get to Princess Peach. :3 If you're talking about a costume, try ebay or cosplay.com to commission one, or check out our blog (tatl-tael.blogspot.com) for a tutorial!
@CelesChere18 We ordered them from a bridal store on Ebay. If you have trouble finding it online, let us know! We'll try to find you a link. Good luck! :D
@purplica It really depends on what you cosplay. The princess dresses were a little pricy to make as we wanted a nice fabric to give them that authentic feel. But if you want to do a simpler cosplay, they can be quite cheap. :] Hope that helps!
very sad englis...though...the buy of the pattern ahhh...where get you? is very perfect the cinderalla and i am in want...singapore to cosplay first time 很快! beautiful beautiful are you! 对不起,我的英语可怕
@LotisNyozeka Thank you very much! We purchased our pattern at Joann's Fabric, although you may also find it at Hancocks. If you check out our blog [tatl-tael.blogspot.com] you can check out our tutorial on how to make the dress. Good luck!
@crouchingtiger1000@crouchingtiger1000 We ordered hoop skirts from ebay. There's a really great bridal shop there where we got two for $10. :] You can check our blog [in the description] for more details on how we made everything.
@crouchingtiger1000 They are actually very light. They are like wearing a skirt (ours had an elastic waist) that you wear underneath the dress. The crinoline was a bit scratchy when sitting down but otherwise they are very comfortable.
@purplica I think as long as you want to do it, and have the resources to do so, you are more than welcome to cosplay no matter what your age. Just remember that if you do go to a con/gathering, there are a few responsibilities that often go unvoiced. Just be careful/safe, and remember to have fun. :] I say go for it.
@Tevlek Yeah! It's so much easier making things like this from an existing pattern instead of trying to make this from scratch. Cinderella was the best choice we found, and thank goodness it comes in adult sizes! haha
@TTCosplay Agreed! I'm still torn on how to make the daisy brooch and earrings but your videos helped me out. I was originally going to saw styrofoam balls in half, paint them, then glue them to the foam daisy cut-outs. Then I watched the accessory videos and your idea is much better and...smoother. xD Thanks for posting the videos, it's a lot of help. ^_^
Now I want to see someone cosplay as Pauline.

Im making a daisy costume for halloween, the sleeves are.. Very very poofy.

@10me20 Haha yeah they definitely are! We both used the largest pattern size for the sleeves portion of the dress to give them that added "poof". :]

@TTCosplay im going to be putting up progress vids of it soon! possibly check it out when i do :p
