@LLonie1 Well, if you usually knit left handed you would knit the way you always do. The important bit is you are knitting by placing your needle through the loop at the top, not by using the entire tape as you would with regular yarn.
oops, I guess I knitted right to the very last loop didn't leave a tail...thanks.. I guess I need to pull out a loop and do it right...thank-you . Love this scarf.so much fun to knit except the loops slip off easily. I need to get the circular needles...
@MsMadelaine1 Pull the last loop open, draw the tail through, and tighten to make a knot. You can tuck the end up into the body of the scarf. The ruffles should hide it.
@MsMadelaine1Before starting to knot, I always knot at the start so that I don't waste much yarn and when finished I cast off normally and I pull the yarn through and at the last stitch like I would normally with wool.
I have knitted scarves with this and love it but when I cast off the end is tight and turns inwards where as when you cast on it splays out lovely so you have two totally different ends any advise on how to make them the same please
Thank you soo much! This was more helpful than the instructions that came with the yarn and easier to understand than the hot tempered clerks at the store who sold the yarn to me! I've had the yarn for a LONG time and now I actually get to knit with it!! YAY!!
@MrDevon2007 For the benefit of the video I found a smooth spot that would be easy to work with and easy for views to see what was happening. In reality I started as close to the end as I could. This left a small tail that I just secured in the body of the scarf. The ruffles helped hide it.
How do I do this left handed?

why do you leave 5-6" at the beginning? What do you do with it when you finish the scarf?

Really helpful video, thanks! I'm currently awaiting my first batch of Rizos so it's good to see how it all comes together.
Have you tried Ondas yet? I've had a play with that and the Triana, but I think I prefer the finished effect from the Rizos the most!

@bobbinshop No I haven't seen the Ondas yet. It looks similar to the Triana, but with smaller mesh. The Rizos make a more subtle scarf, I think.
