#2: And if so: WHERE are these particles located, after the body died? What about non-locality in quantum physics? When the body/brain has irreversibly died (reached near zero EEG activity after its last burst), what about quantum decoherence? As fascinating as the presuppositions of your research are and with all due respect... I find your findings to be inconclusive bordering on contradictive in places. But I understand that they are soothing to many... and thus worth a buck or two... ;)
I find it difficult to have a discussion based on facts, when we haven't yet agreed on some basic definitions as far as terminology is concerned. For example: How can you discuss consciousness w/o defining what the *I* or *me* - identity - is? Following this: Is soul then non-material representation of identity? You say, there's a scientific possibility of a persistent soul via particle entanglement. Doesn't this presuppose PARTICLES (Matter!) to be present?
last quote "there's good evidence that consciousness depends on quantum effects in the brain".
Surely this conclusion deserves more discussion!!!!? It's contrary to everything you're touting (consciousness exists outside space/time), but maybe that's why you choose to end the video at that point?
@mollabob it doesnt have to mean consciosness is th product of brain when he says so. consciousness is making use of brain as an instrument which happens to follow quantum mechanics in order to express itself. brain is simply a tool its expression. they both need each other. its all a simulatanesous expression.
I transcend this level of awareness often ~ Consciousness remains ~ Me watching me from above ~ IS this any different from that consciousness and the consciousness that normally is?
