Besides, Miss Thailand didn't make it 2005 eventhough Thailand hosted the event. Eventhough a newcomer to this Miss Universe and Miss World Pageants, Vietnam has ranked top 15,10,and 17 in Miss World in 2002,2004, and 2006. Vietnam join Miss World in 2002 and Miss Universe in 2004. And of course, top 15 in 2008 Universe.

Venezuela tambien fue llamada de primera en el top del Miss World durante el 2007 y 2008. Además de clasificar en el Miss International por 4 años consecutivos. Creo que ningun otro pais latino puede decir lo mismo ;)

Pik Sokolit, yes, Miss Kosovo had the most beautiful face in the pageant, but she was a bit "out of shape" (for Miss Universe standards) and she came accross as a bit arrogant, cold and introverted, as seen in her attitude, her posing and overall demeanor.That is why she did not place higher.Personality and how they interact with others is also very important when choosing a miss universe and often times some of the latin contestants are more extroverted, playful, warm and expressive.

@krisinsyd. There were Vietnamese judges in the preliminary round, but not all. If all the Vietnamese judges voted for her and the rest didn't, she would not have made it. Besides, Miss Thailand didn't make it 2005 eventhough Thailand hosted the event. Eventhough a newcomer to this Miss Universe and Miss World Pageants, Vietnam has ranked top 15,10,and 17 in Miss World in 2002,2004, and 2006. Vietnam join Miss World in 2002 and Miss Universe in 2004. And of course, top 15 in 2008 Universe.

I agree with you but you're missing Dominican Republic and Czech Republic they didn't deserve to be part of the Top 15. I liked Vietnam and Italy, Vietnam was prettier than Riyo Mori and i had her and Italy in my predictions even when i saw Italy's performance she looked too cocky for my taste and her gown was ugly.

Estoy de acuerdo contigo. Taliana no habló estupideses, solo que cuando respondio, estaba que hablaba y pensaba, hablaba y pensaba... Colombai nisiquiera era para ser primera finalista, talvez la segunda, pero el puesto de primera finalista era para mexico...

I don't understand why Panama, Puerto Rico & Brazil are not in the top 15 and top 10 o maybe in the top 5... They are gorgeus, better than Vietnam and Japan...
