I'm thinking that is actually Orca, Kite and Blamung, least the kid with glasses resembles Orca's player. Not to mention he's the one who brought Kite into the game, and falls into a coma.
Could just be that they decided to give the original games a reboot.

@dragonraizen Actually in a real online game, you can see tons of characters that's either identical or has similarly appearances. So its not unusual for the producer to reuse Kite's models since that's what happening in real life.

Stop re-using Kite's model for once. While it made for good Cameos, there must be some 3 or 4 Kites in .Hack continuity now.
