Two things: In "Confessions of an Economic Hitman," Perkins sais that Muslims are spiritually opposed to our imperialist/capitalist tendancies, and Lindsey Williams sais that Iraq and Iran were the only two nations not to sign our oil protocols essentially ordering OPEC to reinvest their revenue back into Western economies. there are 2 sides here that are both wrong and illogical. both the neocons and the liberals. neocons hold that iran is completely crazy and wacked out of it's gord and liberals say completely innocent. this is both wrong. the truth lies somewhere in between. you see. iran has written documents saying that it wants shiism to prevail in the muslim world and wants to create a new safavid state. it gave arms and support to the mahdi army to kill sunnis in iraq. there are no sunni mosques in tehran.
