yah, even animals are probably more 'spiritual' than probably all 'civilized' humans. Animals are probably completely true to themselves. Probably all children are very spiritual just as they naturally are. I think some people just like to feel above others or feel advanced and spirituality and religion can be a tool for the elevation of one's self in a 'look at how spiritual I am" sorta way. REM sang a song about LOW, Low low, that song is like this concept kinda.
