Obama keeps inviting Republicans and the public at large to contribute to the public discussion, and to offer constructive ideas and alternatives. An alternative budget has been asked for from Republicans several times, and what they've produced is criticism, naysaying and dissembling.

People truly dont understand what Obama is up against. Our country is run by corporations, special interest groups, various agencies shrouded in secrecy. They truly dont know how far we really are from democracy right now.

This one man is single handedly battling those forces for you guys. One man pretty much. How receptive have the other leaders been to the people. This one guy is actually listening and trying to deliver FOR the people. Support the guy.

For the first time, I am actually listening to the President! I am tracking him daily. He is leading in a way that lets me feel informed, respected and considered. I actually trust what he says! It is wonderful to have a person like this represent us and apply himself to shifting the greed and dishonesty that has been business as usual for so many years. Thank you Barack for having the courage, stability and willingness to tackle this job!

Sorry to bust your bubble Obamanaut but he's a liar and you're too punch drunk to admit it. Why is he doing a press conference? He has a 2-1 majority in Congress and 60 Dem Senators? It's because over 50 Democrats aren't supporthing this dumb plan. He's increased our defecit by trillions, offers terrorists Miranda rights, hasn't even read his own bill, lied about stabilizing unemployment, continuing his handout drive and for what? His approval has dropped over 15 points. He's lost in space.

Now it's time for America to stop standing around seeing how outstanding Obama's been and get to work!

The worst is past. The good government types are back in charge. It's time for us to get our confidence back as a people and start building the businesses of the 21st century and hiring all of these good people who are wandering around looking for jobs.

He's been in office two months. That's more than many presidents accomplish in their entire term.
