I really like the energy and spirt of the writers who challenge the government's version of the story whether it is Iran, Iraq, or 9/11, but it is important to learn the correct terminology and use it correctly if you want to be taken seriously. Learn the difference between "false flag", "provocation", and "falsification" to distinguish situations and not look silly by saying absurd things like "all wars" are started by false flag operations. Saying "all" & "never" is how to lose credibility.

You should research it. Every war (or almost every war) waged by America involved a false flag attack. In WW2 for instance America deliberately sent a passenger ship into German waters after the german embassy warned them not to send ships there, or risk being sunk. Gulf of Tonkin incident -> false flag. USS liberty -> attempted false flag. 911 -> false flag. Gulf War 1-> Saddam invaded Kuwait because they were stealing oil from Iraq, the Kuwaitis/Americans lie on the media to start the war, etc

USS Maine, was most likely a false flag operation. Pearl Harbor could not be called a false flag operation at all. Hiding any info about an impending attack is completely different than making the attack yourself and pretending it was the other guy. The Pearl Harbor operation was a use economiic, political and diplomatic provocation to get the Japanese to attack first. Since it worked there was no need of a false flag operation to conduct a fake attack by the Japanese.

Right, but having first provoked the other person into the attack isn't "completely different", at all. The principle of isomorphism suggests that "if in two hypotheses the consequences are the same, the two hypotheses may be considered as identical for all purposes of further reasoning". Thus, it can be called an attack on the US by those in charge of the US.

The me/you analogy you have proposed is not the same as happened in 1941, as there were THREE parties involved then: US gov (PERPETRATOR), Japan (TOOL), Pearl Harbor (VICTIM). You need to distinguish between PERPETRATOR and VICTIM, which your analogy does not. What the US government did is unequivocally WRONG.

Research? Sending a US ship into German waters is NOT a false flag operation it is a provocation. Perhaps you should get your terminology straight. A false flag operation would be disguising a US sub as a U-boat to sink the ship. You don't know the definition of a false flag operation. Gulf of Tonkin was not a false flag but a false report. When the US provocation along the coast of North Vietnam failed, on Aug 2 1964 the US fired first and falsified the retaliation as an unprovoked attack.

Uhh yes it was because it was portrayed as an unprovoked sinking by the German navy, despite the fact that the Germans had warned the Americans not to send any passenger ships into that area. It is a false flag operation because it was intentionally allowed by the United States, knowing what the outcome would be. In that sense, they were responsible for the "terror" attack. You need to stop nitpicking over semantics and focus on the bigger issue.

CO@Junkie, I agree that a false flag operation is the most likely scenario for starting an overt war on Iran, but it is not the only way. Instigating an attack with plausible deniability is another tried and true method. And of course remember we are already in a covert war with Iran since we are sending covert missions into Iran as we speak.
