@CourtneyFerrera /// Great cousin to have. I saw the Counting Crows open up for your cousin back in 1995 in Nashville. I love Cracker and have for many years.
It's not just what he's done to me, it's how he treats his own fans. Here's another reply I got from another Cracker fan for a comment I made about David. " I love these guys too, but you're totally right about Lowery. I've seen him throw beer bottles out into crowds, berate fans who interrrupt his stories, and condescend to crowds who don't get his jokes." I commented that his solo work was pretentious so he replied w/ some bs & then blocked me from commenting back. He can't take criticism.
@TheRuncible Obviously I didn't realize that was you or I wouldn't have bothered... I'm a dumbass..lol..Anyway Cracker as a band are great. I have almost every cd they put out & they are one of my favorite bands. It was just disappointing having found out how he is toward his fans & how he reacted to me online.(he also started shit on facebook b/c I said they needed to headline instead of RHH They say never meet your heroes, and now I know why. Hickman makes up for Lowery though...He is awesome
@TheRuncible He probably would agree with you but only after he bitched at you for calling him Dave...I heard him complaining before about ppl not calling him David. Oh well, I'm sure he's not the only musician that resents his fans. Sad but true.
David is a douche bag. Any one that disagrees simply doesn't know shit. He an angry d-list rocker who can't hit it big b/c his shitty attitude gets in the way. Hey Virgin records it ain't gonna suck itself.. 429 records..much better..haha.yeah right.
I agree, ironically Cracker was the first band that I experienced that I was in total awe. You always hear about Pete Townsend breaking guitars or Hendrix burning one, but to see it happen live unexpectedly is quite shocking. I remember at the Flood Zone in Richmond, David didn't like the way his guitar sounded early on in the show and he destroyed it on the stage, he was really upset, and from that point on, it was like, "who knows what could happen next". Great showman.
hahaha this is my cousin :) hes awesome

That's because you had guns and grenades. lol
Seriously though, "David" can be cool, but he can also be a gigantic ass. At least in my experience at Cracker/Camper shows.

Yeah, Hickman usually sticks his head out the door before shows and chats with the fans. Dude is the definition of rock star cool.
And no problem about the quote--there wasn't anything I said that isn't true. And
Dave would probably agree with all of it. lol

@TheRuncible At least it was your direct quote & I didn't change it around to make it sound worse than it was.(b/c I almost did that..j/k).lol

I just want to make clear that I worship the ground this man walks on--he could just be a little more appreciative of his fans...

Good story about the Butthole Surfers. I saw them once and still remember it as one the best shows I have ever seen.

I could listen David stories for a year straight and I wouldn't get sick of them!
