As Josef Stalin said, "quantity has a quality all of its own". They do make miniguns chambered for 20mm and 30mm too - but those are bloody heavy. Wiki search the GAU-8 (the 30mm gatling gun in the A-10) and you'll see how massive it is compared to the M134 in this video.
