I'm a Filipino and I don't know why others laugh at our accent. We were fully aware of our accent sounds like. We know it's not the coolest accent in the world and don't think for a minute that we don't know that your mocking at us. We use our accent because we are proud of it. We can change our accent if we wanted it though (usually mimic other accents).
