Does God want His name honored or Him? Look at the whole verse:

Read that last sentence. Honoring a name without honoring Him, is meaningless. Matthew 15:8
Yes YAHUWAH wants his name honoured indeed you are to fear it and uphold it and bring glory to it.. if you are geniune in your respect and fear for his name then you are infact honouring it not only with your mouth but from your heart.
so matthew is talking about people who pretend to love the creator but care nothing at all for him really in their hearts.. with their mouths they make claims of how much they love god et when you ask them what is his name they say oh who cares its not important!

as for YAHUWAH being legalistic you might want to look back to see exaclty what he did to the people who disobeyed him and belittled his name.. scripture tells you to fear his name so how can you if you dont even know/like or care about him name?
I have dyslexia..do a little research on that. I truly cannot read that..it looks like a bunch of mixed up letters to me. When I read outloud, I cannot pronounce many words, but I know what they mean. I use a spellchecker on here that highlights my misspelled words then gives me suggestion to spell them correctly. I cannot even spell dyslexia correctly..I have to use an online dictionary to find the correct spelling. dyslexia isn't just a sight problem with words and numbers...
we also do not hear the sounds in words correctly either..which is why we spell so badly. I cannot tell the difference between a long or short e for instance. I say many words slightly different then most people due to my dyslexia. God in His mercy though has blessed me with many spiritual gifts, including the gift of understanding His word. You have reduce what Christ did on the cross for us to nothing more then pronouncing a word, like magic, to be saved. That is what I see clearly.
I'm merely telling you the truth about how our creator and his sons names were changed and with that also the image millions of people have in their heads about who they both are. its wrong!

Seriously you need to do a search on dyslexia. I grew up being laughed at for not being able to pronounce certain names or words correctly..people did what you are trying to do..break it down for me..have me listen to it..I just told you I cannot 'hear' correctly the small differences in certain letters. I grew up feeling shamed and told I was stupid because I couldn't say something correctly. This is why learning to read and spell is so hard for us. My belief isn't depended on that though.
