  • Thats what they are made for. very high output. I may do a new video soon to demo through a tube amp.

  • How do thoes power rails work for metal?

  • Hello! I have Godin SD too and want to get warm jazzy tone from neck pickup. Was it hard to install new one by yourself? How did you choose lil killer? can I just install it on neck position with no pickguard drilling and no additional switches?

    Thanx a lot!

  • What version of the lil killer did you instsall in the neck position?

  • Did you modify your pickguard to install the neck pickup or does it fit right in? I have the same guitar and I'm planning to buy GFS' Lil Killer for the neck (hopefully I'll get a warm Jazz tone), Neo5 for the middle and Vintage 59 for the bridge. I'll probably install a pull-push switch for the 59. Does the GFS' sound better than the stock Godins?

  • @pcvaldez I didn't need to modify the pickguard. To me the GFS' sound far better than the stock Godins.

  • @imbzy Yes it has a push pull switch. It wasn't difficult to install, no harder than a regular potentiometer. Just make sure that you get the wiring right the first time so you don't need to pull it apart again!

  • Thanks.

  • Nice mods sounds good check out the mods I made to my godin
