Going live against Moe Dee, now I would have liked to see or hear that. Shan even got sporty in Beat Biter. L never responded. But he battled Moe Dee on wax and Moe Dee was very lyrical.

LL 's hits get little play, his acting gigs since 2000 have been few and far between. His clothing line with Sears is not a big hit. BUT, of course, he has millions but seeing that he hadn't been hot in years, he knows that hiring Timbaland or The Neptunes is a high-risk gamble and will end up being a un-recoupable loss. Look at the result, he had to finance "Exit 13" himself and it's not even GOLD.

@jerudoriginal91 1st, LL's career wasn't almost ended by "Let's Go". No one's career is ever ended by a diss, it's just something rappers say about their opponents and the public stupidily ran with it.
Anyway, if you can say "To Da Break Of Dawn" is better than "Let's Go" or that "Death Blow" sucked, you don't know anything about lyrics. Yes, LL got served lyrically. He survived because of his movies, so more people knew him & bought his music though he went more Pop. He lost the battle tho.

@MystroMusicMan actually u probably never heard of MC Shan or MC Antoinette, carrers can be ended by disses, tho very rarely it could happen. Have u ever heard ''Death Blow? It sounds exactly like ''Let's Go'', he actually pushed the part of sayin' the L's all over again, by using words starting by L that don't even make sense, lyrically ''Let's Go'' is better, but in over all ''To Da Beak''... is better, in my opinion it hit harder, btw i'm not a big LL fan, he's good but not in my top 30

@jerudoriginal91 Again, not ended by disses. Public just fell out of favor of Shan and Antoinette. Just like with Moe Dee he didn't POPularize his image and style and become a actor and such so, the puplic in a large part lost intrest. NOW, if you have PROOF of ur claim, then show. As for "Death Blow", yeah, it's over your head. "You can't hang without a high-school diploma". LL's mostly-average lyrics are more your speed.

Rap, AZ, Nas 2Pac, Melle Mel etc. Moe Dee compared to rakim is just a good rapper
