You dont win a fight just by beeing fast and energetic. He`s a very good fighter but you can see his weaknesses when he faces styles similar to his own.

Souwer's style isn't similar to Zambidis. Zambidis relies a lot on staying out of range, and then closing the distance very quickly, because he's so small. He's good at that.

Souwer's style is a bit hard to define, since he has such a complete arsenal, and adapts depending on the opponent. For instance that left midkick at 2:10 and other moments is textbook stuff for when you have a reach advantage and the other guy attacks.

Zambidis lost mainly because Souwer is tactical genius I'd say.

Souwer`s style is easy to define, he`s the (almost) perfect shootboxer. Extremely tight defence, and outstandig counters, and yes, he`s got an arsenal so big he can variate in almost every situation.

For a fighter with poor reach,like Zambidis, its also textbook to stay out of range until the opportunity appears, and then close...

Most fighters have a reach advantage of Zambidis, he`s still won a lot of fights, especially against "big move" fighters...

From where do you get the idea you have to keep standing? That way you give your opponent complete control of the distance. It's near impossible to win that way, assuming anyone is even foolish enough to try it as a gameplan.
