A Californian's Response to Dianne Feinstein on Prop 8

This is why I voted for Prop 8 in a nutshell. A man and a woman, by tradition, are both essential elements to the family. There are always exceptions, but it's never time to take an obvious exception and declare it the same thing as the rule. All these protests show a true lack of tolerance, and while diversity is celebrated in San Francisco, evidently diversity of thought is not one of them.

Well said! The issue is not discrimination because this proposition, if passed, will take nothing away from the human rights of same-sex couples. It is important to think of the next generation that will be taught what the definition of marriage is in public schools, one way or the other, their entire lives. Vote yes on Proposition 8.
