back in SC1 it was definitely micro > macro because you could only have a dozen of units to control per selected group. the new sc2 allows players to control more than a dozen... which makes it a macro oriented game. Macro is a basic aspect to perform while harassing. Micro is more important than macro but if macro is not executed well, there's no point to micro'ing. Macro does not equal to micro. macro is NOT skill. micro is the skill.
@kwonny89 these 2 statements are contradictory: "Micro is more important than macro but if macro is not executed well, there's no point to micro'ing" therefor one of them is false... i'm gonna go with the first one :)
@nosehair16 Think of it this way: "Micro is more important than macro GIVEN that both players can manage army+tech+eco extremely well. Macro can go little far whereas with micro.. no matter how much you practice, you'll still get it wrong; meaning that micro aspect has a LOT of potential to be improved. Therefore, if you can't even manage macro well, there is no point of micro'ing since you don't have the army to micro." think of 10 marines trying to micro kill 10 thors :)
@doglyfe4444 I watch husky and psy and askjoshy, and when i something neet happen, i try to immitate it... honestly though i've never been one for copying other peoples builds, or even copying my own builds... i meander about and follow a general theme (2-0-1 3-0-0 2-1-0 etc) and there are really very few available combinations of buildings, so it's not hard to try them all :)

That's a pretty cool game. A macro master beating a micro master!

Halby, where do you find you're build orders?
I know you 'just kinda do stuff and hope it works out', haha
But, how about for all the other builds? Like builds putting early pressure on Zerg?
