I didn't know you could use the silencer on him, so I had a hard time trying to beat him on hard with yellow life and no health drinks xD, But I found another good how to kill him, not as good, but when he runs by you, use the shotgun and he falls down on one shot, then I shoot him with my pistol when he was down and every time he rose up I used the shotgun agian and he falls down agian

I could never beat the game on hard mode. Great fight! I've always used the shotgun.
