  • Ok i have Win2VNC on my main computer and i have VNC server free edition installed on my laptop.... Now how in the hell do i link the two?

  • I installed this and set up a listening... It does absolutely nothing when I drag my mouse to the left side of the screen.

  • Is this possible using 1 monitor? and if so how would it work?

  • Is this possible using 1 monitor?

  • Question, I have a really slow PC with a single processor that does not run at speeds I need. I also have a nice new Mac Book Pro as well. I like having my PC so I can connect remotely to manage the various websites I maintain, but I would like to use my mac book pro as my primary to display on my dual screens.

If I installed the win2vnc on the desktop, would it run from the Mac Book processor or would it use my slow desktop's processor?

Do you have any recommendations for me?

    Thanks

  • It's a pain. I got it installed on both netbook and pc, but I can't seem to get them to find each other.

  • synergy works perfect for me!! i'm linking it from windows 7 to windows vista.

  • jesus christ so much fucking detail for nothing im falling assleep

  • How do I get the program to work? I installed it on both my computers, now what?

  • Click on either desktop?..

  • yeah i set mine up to dual moniter i figered it out lol thx

  • Are you going to have kids? :/

  • i'll give it a shot. thanks for the video chriss

  • Play some good games lately?

  • Depends. There's a reason he uses all these OS's: so he won't seem biased. If I talked about OSX I wouldn't be credible at all because I only use XP and Linux LiveCD's, since he uses OSX, he is more credible.

  • He is not credible because only 10% of the world population uses a mac, coincidentally, 10% of the world population is also gay

  • I installed and synergy on my linux mint and windows vista in under 2-3 min without any problem at all. It was incredibly easy to configure so i guess Synergy has gotten a lot better. Haven't tried the one Chris is talking about but I don't need to because Synergy works perfectly!:D

  • his dogs name is WICKED??

  • No, it's WICKET.

  • teamviewer both works with mac and windows but the thing about teamviewer you dont need to open ports :)

  • lol

    yea

  • this thing work in linux?

  • synergy does

  • u are very good but u talk to much videos are to long anyway respect

  • whoa hes got 2 of everything

  • thats what she said!

  • great vid, nice computer set.

  • why would you have 2 30 inch monitors and then make the windows like Uber huge?? i would utilize that space. keep the windows the way they used to be, (small) and have more space. but hes awesome.

  • i think i can do better than him

  • thats what she said

  • then you definitely dont know who he is. hes married.

  • and he totally rules at dungeons and dragons!

  • got this working in less then 10 minutes. awesome!

  • would that work on a laptop as the main computer

  • yes

  • The simplicity of one app on the PC to control my macbook while at work was great. I tried it and within seconds the fan kicked in on the macbook which means to me this is a little cpu intensive. I'm back on synergy for now, on leopard the trick I noticed was to force it to run in foreground mode (-f) background it (&) and disown it. Then you can detach the controlling terminal without it dying in the background.

  • insert EVIL laugh here hoo ho ha ha... nice set up chris

  • I am having problems getting this to work, Does anyone have any good tutorials on this? Reply please!

  • win2vnc was last updated February 26, 2005

  • Heh.. and i thought finding the mouse on one computer would be hard... imagine 3... hm... good video chris!

  • This program is a lifesaver. At work, I usually have my laptop in front of me. When I have to use my actual work computer, I have to move the laptop out of the way. That ends in wires getting tangled. With Win2VNC, I can easily control my work computer using my laptop. This is sweet!

  • Why are all the related videos titled, "Fear of Flying" ???

  • For some reason, it's on just about all his videos.

  • crap i need something for os x to controll a windows pc

  • Nice. I am going to have to try this.

  • That's awesome, thanks for the tip. I'd definitely do that if I had two computers.
