Dear Everyone saying she shouldn't have been allowed to compete because she has albums out already: THE VOICE IS NOT AMERICAN IDOL. Many of the contestants had previous music careers or albums out. Javier clearly said he put out albums but that no one had bought them.

The point that we should be focusing on is that Dia has an amazing and unique voice!

This is a really interesting cover, because while Adele excels in the lower range like at the beginning of the song, Dia excels at the higher notes that compose much of the chorus. All in all, a very cool newr take on the song.

Here's my 2 cents on the Javier/Dia debate. I love Dia (M&D fan 4 years running!) She has a beautiful voice. But I also think Javier has more "vocal talent." And since the name of the show was "The Voice" I felt that he deserved to win. But w/ that being said, the prize was a record deal, and having vocal talent doesn't mean you have what it takes to sell records. That takes something special and I don't think Javier has that special something. Dia has what it takes. She's got the "it" factor...

I saw Meg & Dia live about three years ago. They hadn't even released Here, Here & Here. I had never heard about them before, but when I saw them I fell in love with their music. I was shocked when I heard Dia's "Inventing Shadows" in iTunes. Dia went from playing in a concert house type-thing with 100 people to The Voice in front of all of America. I'm proud of her. :D
