I saw them play in Berkley, CA when they were on the west coast. Great concert, they had the same opening band that you saw. Freaking hilarious. I do understand about not appreciating the music, but I was opposite lol I didn't really get Tool until later in life. I was always more into APC through middle school and only in high school (Junior and Senior year) did I seriously enjoy Tool. Also, Opiate was Tool's first album, just a head's up incase you haven't checked it out because it's great

@TackyTarboosh In Germany smoking is prohibited at concerts, so if the security guys see smoke somewhere, they'll kick the people smoking out. It got a lot better over the years. I remember my first concert back in fall 06... like 90% of the crowd was smoking, I couldn't speak the next day cause my lungs and my throat were hurting.

I saw APC years ago when they 1st came out. I love how Maynard puts his music and lighting as the main focus of the show and himself as just part of the show. He hid behind a cardboard cut out of George Bush most of the show, then went behind one of those see privacy screens where you can only see his figure. It was a great show, I'd love to see them again. I hope he puts out a new Tool album soon too :-D
