Simply Google: Branham Cloud Hoax.

The "miracle cloud" came from a secret, exploded Thor missile at Vandenburg, CA . It was seen after winds carried it to Flagstaff, AZ. (nowhere near Tucson where Branham claimed to be).

Branham never even mentioned "a cloud" during his subsequent, detailed sermons about his angelic desert "vision;" That is, until the cloud sighting was nationally publicized and he heard about it (for the first time?)

BTW, he preached that the "End" was coming in 1977.

He didn't preach that it was coming. He predicted that it would be 1977.Branham said many times "THIS IS NOT FROM THE LORD, THIS IS MY PREDICTION AS A BIBLE STUDENT."If predicting the wrong date or judgement of Christ makes you not a prophet, then you better say Jonah wasn't a prophet either, because after he preached at ninevah he went up to the mountain to watch it burn. He predicted incorrectly even though he was a prophet.
