this car has 555 hp on the wheels, so 555 X1,3 is the engine´s hp = 721 hp.

721 / 225 =3,2 (3,2 - 1,65 = 1,564 bar round it up to 1,6 bars maybe 1,7 bar, in boost , notice they engine is modyfied plenty, so it´s not the boost only how counts!! ;-)

@Luke1337 well, FWD is a hell of a lot safer; especially on cornering, where the normal behavior would be understeer, opposed to a RWD which will oversteer; It's considered safer because not all drivers are experienced drivers.

@Luke1337 i'm an automotive engineer and that's something I learned in college. If a FWD understeers (for example) you can control it by just turning the wheel a bit more in the direction intended. If a RWD oversteers you have to turn the wheel in the opposite direction fast, which can be a bit tricky. As a fact, usually RWD cars oversteer and FWD cars understeer; there are exceptions, of course, but that usually has something to do with uneven weight distribution.

When you enter a tight corner at high speeds, your understeer issue can hardly be corrected. Slightly turning the wheel more should also be done at the same time as slightly braking, and the grip will be regained gradually, not suddenly. It happened to me while driving a bit too fast down a windy mountain road.

Some times when a FWD understeers you have to steer less to the direction you want it to go so it will get grip again and then you can turn more to the direction you want to go.

It's all in how the forces between the road and the tire are split; while turning the wheel more, the forces applied on the side of the tire will also slow the car down a bit, which is also a good thing for that situation.

Allt handlar iofs inte om en stor turbo och mycket laddtryck. Flöde, bränsle och temp är också viktigt, helst om man vill ha en motor som håller. :) AutoTech är rätt bra på sådant där...

You can use Mitsu 16T, thats a good turbo for this engine, or 18T/19T, but they are a bit bigger.

But 16T is very good for this engines, + chip tuning! It should run pretty good then!

But you should change the injectors too, greens from V70R, and 3" MAF? Air mass tube from 960. Then you get a realy fast engine! :D

Traction is always going to be an issue if you modify fwd cars. Personally I don't see the point in moddification beyond 300bhp in a fwd. My 850 is running around 280bhp with an auto box (so torque converter to help with traction) and eagle F1 tyres and even then traction can be a problem during wet weather and cornering.

In my opinion anymore than 280bhp is redundant in these cars.
