  • she s milli vaniili style PLAYBACK IN VIDEO ...JAJAJA

  • i really was shocked when i get the info she never was sang on her tracks.

  • guauu que bella morena

  • corona canto sus temas apartir de 2001 , porque "rythm of the night" es por jenny bersola (italiana) y los demas tracks de sus canciones 94-99 son interpretados por Sandy Chambers (inglesa)

  • she's brazilian ?

  • @ItsNidal Yep, she is.

  • it is known that it wasnt her that was singing those songs but another girl who know not pretty enough so the record label hired Olga to 'sing' those songs.

  • exactly, the real singer is called Giovanna Bersola aka Jenny B.

  • @roZd64

Jenny sang "Rhythm of the Night" and Sandra Chambers (AKA Sandy) sang "Baby Baby", "Try Me Out", and "I Don't Wanna Be A Star" etc. Sandra is actually the "voice" of what most people think of as "Corona".

  • @lou2u I just can't understand why they didn't use her voice? It's not too bad of an instrument.

  • @blktenor

The songs were originally recorded as studio singles (like a lot of Italo music is). I think when they were finished, they needed a "face", and Olga was an after thought (because she is pretty striking looking and a good dancer). I think that if they did it now, then they would have used her vocals (but maybe not -Italo music producers are pretty stubborn sometimes). She certainly is better than a lot of "singers" that get autotuned to sound passable. I like Olga. She's entertaining.

  • @lou2u Hey Lou. Thanks for replying to me with such a informative response!!! Question. Do you think there is anything wrong with the way producers will put a "face" to a single instead of using the real singers. I've seen pictures of Jenny B, the lady that sings rhythm of the night, and she is beautiful too.

  • @blktenor

I don't know if it's wrong, but it's been going on forever. It started with movie stars. Marni Nixon wasn't considered "bankable" enough to be in front of the cameras, but she was the singing voice for Natalie Wood, Margret O'Brien, Debra Kerr, Marylin Monroe (to a disputed degree), Audrey Hepburn, etc. In the case of Jenny B., I believe they just hired her for the one song, and when it became popular, she probably wasn't available any longer. THAT happens all the time in Italo music.

  • @lou2u O I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I think in the United States things like that are too popular. But I have no problem with it. I just hope the original singer is happy with it.

  • @blktenor

That's the thing about being studio singer. Sometimes their songs make MILLIONS of dollars for the producer, and they get very little. I doubt they are really happy with the arrangement. They are treated the same way as the singers that singe jingles for a commercial.

  • @blktenor

You are right about using studio musicians in the US. I know of lots of instances of using studio singers. Diana Ross and the Supremes' "Love Child" had Diana and studio back up (without any of the Supremes). Martha Walsh fronted many "groups" (and was only made famous after she sued C&C music factory because she wasn't paid for lead vocals on one of their songs (yes, she was a Weather Girl, but by then she was pretty obscure outside of the DJ and gay club scene).

  • ke ke ke? en brazil pero ke no es ella italiana o europea o algo por el estilo?

  • Hello hulgo! Olga is brazilian, yes. She's from Vigário Geral in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Not from Europe, you're right.

  • ok now understand ahora entiendo jeje

    thank you!!!

  • O sea que Corona si cantaba, bueno, mas o menos, pero cantaba... quien decia que no?
