If you get the 10 year anniversary of the movie this part is in the uncut version! The begining unfortunatly is not in the movie. I own the 10 year anniversary edition. Buy it selena fans. there is a doumentary on selena. it's so sweet.

so i'm confused. never understood why they didn't put this in the movie. because it made it seem liek Selena became famous without getting a record deal. because it just went from selena as a young girl to selena performing Baila Esta Cumbia at the Fair. and then her fame continued....so it always confused me.
