Tekken 4 pretty much REMOVED the basic Tekken "combo" system that was in Tekken 3, buddy. Most launchers didn't launch on normal hit like Kazuya's EWGF. Tekken 4 relied on jab strings and maneuvering through those damn uneven stages.

I don't even know what the fuck you mean by "just movelists and blocking", because every single fighting game ever made is basically that.
