  • this is the most beautifull song in the world right b4 my fairy king and seven seas of rhye my mostest favortiest song in that order Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke , my fairy king , seven seas of rhye

  • theres nothing fucking cartoonish about freddie voice you need to be slaped for saying that

  • fucking trolling on freddie are we you dam assholes

  • I love this song. Especially when Freddie makes his voice so high and cartoonish. Amazing how he can do anything to his voice.

  • I have no comment about this great works.

  • it is not in stereo.

  • @sherhrtatk it was their first stereo song i think

  • nothing without the sex within the bass

  • What is sad is how many rock fans have not even heard this album. My god what they are missing.

When i was in college this was my number # 1 album(Side 2) side to put on when we were well oiled on beers and weed. Awesome.

  • @shire2005 in college when? where? I think I was there too!

  • someone needs to deliver the master-stroke on the 3 tin ears that dislike this

  • god this song will never get old i juice so bad ( meaning no stop sweet ) when playing my pretend guitar and shakeing and throwing my head up and down

  • this is my best song extremely close to the song fuck it just call it a tie my fairy king my 2 best queen songs i can't pick one i really don't wantoo say i like one more then the other tie for my best queen song ever master stroke and my fairy king

  • art meets music ever see something so entertaining of thought ? That is one facet of Queen Artists know this hence the lack of political bs in a Queen song they wanna escape too just like Zepplin and Hendrix and etc influenced them Music is an escape

  • Is that a hammered Dulcimer I hear in there at 1:24 or Brian's guitar magic?

  • @sbinsdca it could be, or maybe a harpsichord? I don't think that's guitar

  • IMHO this is the best Queen album.

  • Oh my God! This sucks me back to 9th grade....and the boy who introduced me to QUEEN. Such an AWESOME band. I cried when we lost Freddie Mercury. I long for the days of really great music.......

  • The best Queen album ever!

  • I am so grateful that I fell in love with Queen back in 1974!! I was only 10 years old and my uncle would play their music. Now I play their music for my children and grandchildren!! Freddie died too young and when I think of all the music there was still there for him to sing, I cry. I believe music died the day he did. Nothing they play now even compares to this!!

  • This album is probably their best, along with Queen I, A Night at the Opera and Innuendo. but this album is just....monsterously beautiful? yes. it's also there most complicated album, especially listening to the layers on songs like March of the Black Queen and Father to Son (My favorite song ever) and the lyrical genius of them.

  • @vitamincity innuendo wouldnt have its power and message, without the ALL of the other albums

  • @od112 Agree 100%

  • Another Masterpiece, by Freddie...I just Love this Man...He is so creative...and just listen to that voice!.

  • Farrokh Bulsara....the world is a darker place without you....so glad I grew up in the 70's and had a chance to see Queen live..... ! Each time I saw them was an Amazing ride...Freddie Mercury a voice that was a close to perfect as you get a sexy, beautiful soul ,Brian May guitar master, Roger Taylor amazing drums and that falsetto! John Deacon great on the base and wrote some of Queens most memorible songs...So glad I can now share your music with my own kids...The Show Must Go On....

  • Queen II or Night at the Opera...cant decide which is my favorite!

  • look at the painting (same name as song) while listening to this

  • pretty

  • mhm

  • 2 people can't see the master stroke

  • Queen II truly defines album perfection.

  • This album is amazing, one of my all time favs!

  • Call me crazy but I think Freddie may have been listening to the 3rd movement of Brahms symphony 2 when he wrote this... so much musical similarity ...especially with the 8th (or 16th) notes that come in from the harpsichord at the beginning...

  • @LexingtonWells no joke i was thinking the same thing. actually if u listen, Queen's style especially in the left hand piano seems similar to Beethoven's

  • @LexingtonWells Oh no, he didn't have to borrow, for such is the nature of his creativity. Read books on Mozartianian manifestations in creative geniuses and that might open a knew door for you as well. His broblem was - he had too much to tell; a situation when one life is not enough, when one song is not enough, when one love is not enough, when one flower is not enough.

Freddie is this and that and many other facets of the diamond, a true priest of creativity.

  • Every time I hear '14th Street' by Rufus Wainwright I shut my eyes and imagine Freddie singing it. Infact, if he were alive and they got together they could have made some brilliant music as Wainwright is similar in his musical character to Freddie.

  • how does this song not have more views??? a perfect example to show how much peoples' music tastes SUCK nowadays.

  • @LzJPage ....we're just catching up!

amazing... and I'm hearing this for the first time age 50.

    shame my misspent youth

  • @bogenrechtsgeigerlin no shit wow ...then what a dicovery....

  • beats any fucking number one from the last 20 years...

  • @mercuryplannet Dead right pal..too many people have no brain for brilliant music.. its all mainstream bollox!!!!

  • (part II) some "bluesy" tracks you hear on Jazz. And then comes their shift to a more electronic sound in the 1980s.... it would be very interesting to find out about the motivations behind the creative evolution of Queen's music.

  • @LexingtonWells didn't Freddie say in an interview they adaped to the times? the musical prostitute interview i believe is the one.. it's here on youtube

  • I love their early stuff...don't get me wrong, they sound good WHATEVER style they play, but their music changed significantly when Sheer Heart Attack came out. The first two albums are very showy, very flamboyant. The songs have a BROAD range of vocals, with experimental harmonies and frequent tempo changes. Sheer Heart Attack leaned towards metal, or at least, the foundations for it, while the other albums released in the late 70s ranged from the more mainstream sounds in News of the World to.

  • a work of pure genius

  • Queen - Fairy Feller's Master-Strokehas become my 2nd best song my first is still don't stop me now

  • why were these so fukin brilliant , bloody hell, 20 years this year.. R.I.P. Freddie.

  • Let Me Rewrite That.Is that a harpsichord Freddie is using?

  • @EmoCanadian1997 Most certainly.

  • Is That Harpsichord Freddie Using?

  • @EmoCanadian1997 It certainly isn't a synthesizer. It says so on the album cover.

  • Enrico Rugeri - Peter Pan!

  • a statue of queen should be put on the empty plinth at Trafalgar Square

  • THE MAXIMUM!!!..TOP OF THE TOP OF THE MUSIC....i miss you Freddie...Gabriel

  • In my mind I could see Freddie singing for theatrical performances such as Phantom of the Opera. So much expression and feeling in his voice! He draws you in and you feel like you are right there, in the centre of his world, a beautiful fantasy world! That's probably why they called this rock-opera. Freddie just knows how to bring the two together for a sound that is out of this world. Believe me, no one else could possibly achieve this unique orgasmic music that just envelopes your soul!

  • @MsSweetunes I couldn't have put it better myself. Freddie truly was and still is amazing he'll never be forgotten.♥

  • Oh... Oh god... I tihnk I'm crying...

  • This is it- This is the edge. The pinacle. The climax.

Music can't get better than this.

  • Queen II was one of the greatest albums ever been produced

  • Q2 was fab but "night at the opera" was the zenith

  • omg 1 disliker FUCK YOU JUSTIN!!!!

  • Does anybody else think that this album is one of the best albums ever?? It is a masterpiece!

  • Freddie it's God music !!!

  • the best song of ever

  • genius

  • Freddie obviously has a PHD in making Legendary Music.

  • To the music writers of today.....just take a listen to this and it will tell you just how appalling your music is!

  • ONE PERSON DIDN'T LIKE THIS?????

  • @DavePerry2012 They have a strange illness.

  • great bassline! and wonderful guitar solo...oh and the harpsichord work is fabulous. Bach worthy!

  • This whole album is a monster. It should be recorded onto a golden disc and sent into space.

  • @DieFatorLiveThin :):):):)!

  • @DieFatorLiveThin ha ha, good one fella`

  • @DieFatorLiveThin I agree...amazing stuff

  • @DieFatorLiveThin

    Absolutely!

  • Scientificaly i don't know why it makes the hairs on my neck stand up ,but it DOES!!

  • ey guys do youreselfs a favour and just listen Queen with headphones once. then you can hear how much theres in it, its just a little more touching. you hear everything, the choirs the hich ones and the low ones just awesome, but yeah common its Queen ofcoures its awesome, o and its frigin awesome without headphones to. :D

  • Three legged Dragon fly Trumpeter cheers Kashmira .....love u....

  • Freddie Mercury's song is a description of Richard Dadd's painting, "The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke."

Dadd spent 9 years working on the painting in the Bethlehem Hospital (1855-64) where he was committed after stabbing his father to death and being certified insane....

  • @marturion1 wow amazing.

  • Ogre battle/Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke / Nevermore

  • Queen II best Queen album IMO

  • This is my absolute fav song off of Q2!! Queen is truly a phenomenal band. A band all their own. Once you hear them, you are hooked. Freddie's absolute amazing voice just draws you right in and then you see him onstage and WOW!! He was the most amazing front man to ever be!! Oh how I miss him!! The tears just flow when I remember him. A true loss to this world. R.I.P. Freddie. Forever loved and forever missed. ♥♥

  • @queenlivesforever1.....Spoken like a true Queen lover, like me! I'm with you all the way!

    Go QUEEN!!! :)

  • @FREDDIEMANIAC Thank you for your ever so kind words!! YES!!! GO QUEEN...FOREVER!!! :))

  • I love the stereo effects on this song. Some harpsichord here, some guitar harmonies there, a piano arpeggio in here, vocal harmonies everywhere... it really adds to the track.

  • great, classic Queen! Their playing was very precise!

  • The reason that I've always liked Queen is because they did their own style and did'nt try to sound like any other band and they did'nt need to. I mean come on! Freddie's voice was perfect for them! Brian May's guitar work to me is superb! So enjoy the music. ;}

  • @meoddball I agree completely

  • Queen's music is like a wine ..the more u tasting it ..the more addicted u got!

  • I love Queen and Led Zeppelin, Queen were my first love but Led Zeppelin is another planet, it's a fact. It's simple for an Queen fan to admit it this does't mean that for a Queen fan must love Zep ;)

  • @ledwallet777 thats great Mr. Wallet but using the term "better" is like saying Van Gogh is "better" than Matisse or whatever..."better" is not a term used in "art" to describe different artists...like ice cream, every one has a flavor they prefer......

  • @ledwallet777 To admit what?

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Simple...to admit Queen are a great band, Zep are the greatest rock band ever. Zeppelin influenced deeply Queen

  • @ledwallet777 Thats funny I am a big Quen fan and I admit that Queen is the greatest band of all time.

  • Roy Thomas Baker producing....some credit is deserved..head and tails above Queen 1 in production value....

  • Here's a little known fact-- Roger Meadows-Taylor was the person responsible for the vocals with the highest notes, not Freddie.

  • I found this song through a black metal band named Hortus Animae.

Both are really amazing. I LOVE classic's, but HA's version is good in it's own way.

If anybody goes to look for that band's version afterward to hear it, keep an open mind. Don't critisize. They obviously have a good taste in music to want to cover Queen. =D

  • I think Queen II is the best Queen Album!

  • @Hirn0815 your write it is,speaking of deathmetal dont know if you have ever heard of blasphemy?im not into the music or expression or whatever?but i was good friends i lived in vancouver we hung out all the time yea his name is jerry, good fella, youd never no it with the music??my point is i believe a tune or somthing sombody plays, should put you into a place of happiness or wellbeing, his stuff is depressing, low, jumbled instruments, and just plain yelling, other than wanting to feel angry ?his own

  • ..........EPIC....!!!!!

  • on the 5th day god created Freddie Mercury. and on the 6th Freddie created the rest of the universe. still waiting for his 2nd coming though.

  • He's a dilly dally oooooooooooh

    Pedagogue squinting wears a frooown

that you and the music of QUEEN, blew our heads away.

    rip.

  • this is me fav queen song............as anyone seen the painting the song is based around?

  • @clairsy1971 Yeah its on youtube, just richard dadd the fairyfellers masterstroke.

  • @jimmy27paul only freddy could do a song about a painting and be brilliant!!

  • @clairsy1971

you'll get a nice hi def one on wikipedia .... it's like where's wally trying to find the various characters in the song though !!

  • The MASTER-STROKE!!!

  • Excellent! These two tracks need to be together!

  • This is my favourite Queen song, without any doubt!

  • Please Can somebody traduce it for portuguese ?

  • @FreddyMadrug

    y metaforico,

  • please can somebody traduce it for portuguese?

  • @FreddyMadrug

Muitas cosas no se poder traducim, es abstracto

  • Two of my favorite early Queen songs. Been a Queen fan since 1976, their music saw me through my trying teen years. Now I'm middle aged and still listen. No one will ever match Freddie Mercury's vocals in rock. Thanks for the music!

  • They asked Freddie if the "He's a Queery Fellow" line had anything to do with his sexuality. He said no and they were fine with that.

They didn't consider that there are 2 Queen songs with the word "Fairy" in the title...

  • one beatiful sick song....:)

  • The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke

i was addicted to this song........

    freddie is the legend.....

    i hope i could be borned 10years earlier !

  • Great. A simply masterpiece.

  • there's a reason this album is Brian May's favorite

  • Arguably some of the best music ever recorded.

  • I've starded to listen Quenn when I was six. Now I'm thirteen and still listen to queen every day. I knew just We will rock you but now,I've got 12 CD 's from Queen.

I'm going to be a Insider :D ( sorry for my gramma)

  • @metallguitarplayer

  • great line of bass, this song is truly a masterpiece, i love it, i can't stop listening to it, even if i heard it a over a hundred times during the years....i really think none will never write a song like this anymore....Queen and Freddie, you are the best... :)

  • god this is good, I was a young handsome man when I first heard it.......now I am an old handsome man and it still sends shivers down my spine

  • Found this album in '95 when I was 16 years old. It's still my favorite

  • @TokyoFreeze79 i was born at '95... :-P i feel lucky i discovered Queen in this soil of new music

  • Thumbs up if you love the good old Queen! * I DO*

  • Great pair of songs. Thanks for posting this! Now, if only I could get a T-shirt, all black, with this Queen II album cover art on it......yeah.

  • One of Queen's best and heaviest songs IMO... Awesome Shit !!! X)

  • Let's say we team up to track the 1 dislike's ip address, hunt him down, and kill him?

  • I love everything about the first three albums especially-the fantasy themes and progressive feel to them are outstanding. This is not to dismiss the later works, but this is the Queen that I remember capturing my imagination as a kid. Thanks Uncle John for giving me my first Queen records in the early 70's.

  • who is the one idiot who disliked this video/song?

  • Comment removed

  • A STROKE of GENIUS !!!!

  • ジョン・ディーコンのベースにあこがれました。

  • SUPERB ... Classic Queen!

  • Freddie, best voice in rock past, present and for ever future. End of discussion.

  • @easye1973 ther aint no dispute, whatsoever check my profile, see who im standing next to?

  • @easye1973 AMEN.

  • saw these boys in Chicago many years ago. Freddie was beyond description

  • this album was a masterpiece.

  • Shire2005 & gport7 are both right. First shire, whoever doesn't like this song is a mab fool. Gport7, I'm a fan of all the groups you listed and I wouldn't be on the same page to say f' johnny cash, zep, etc. but at the same time they should not be even mentioned with queen as the greatest ever. Side note: another underrated band...the kinks.

  • god his voice is AWESOME

  • Queen inspired everyone.

  • @vesidude Do u know who inspired Queen? Led Zeppelin :)

  • @ledwallet777 And the who, the beatles, hmmm...

  • The best BAND

  • RIGHT, THIS IS IT. GREAT GREATER QUEEN

  • "When you say you didn't love my anymore". The power in Freddie's voice when he sung that was jaw-dropping. I fucking love Queen and I 100% agree with gport7.

I think we should hunt down the single fucker who disliked this video.

  • やはりここからがいいね!

  • you cant have one without the other

  • The most underrated album in the history of rock! No huge hits so it doesn't get radio air play but top to bottom nonstop brilliance!

  • HOW is this the first time i'm hearing this and My Fairy King?!
