Q: I'm not sure how familiar y'all are w/ Hulk comics from the late 1970's, but I've searched my butt off w/out any luck, for a particular Hulk comic I has a a child. I'm not exactly sure but it must have been around '78-80'. In the issue The Hulk was was like 15ft tall & fighting the US army which used sleeping gas to KO him. I remember seeing like 20 soldiers carrying the Hulks sleeping body. I thought it might have been in the short lived "The Rampaging Hulk" series, but it's not. Help?
im pissed they ended blue beetle. They just came out with Blue beetle/Jaime reyes toys and they showed him on batman brave and the bold 4 times. People are going to want to read his comics
Also wanted to say that I love seeing Justin back. As for Comic Book Club's quote on the cover to Hack/Slash #20, totally awesome. I posted the link of the "Best Titles of 2008" at Tim Seely's official Hack/Slash thread over at the CBR boards a couple of months back. Great to see him give mad props to the Comic Book Club!
NA #50 has been the only Dark Reign title I picked up so far and I thought it was cool. Great jam session, great insight into heads of the characters, and great foreshadowing. My heart especially goes out for Spider-Woman, hope she can clear her reputation. As for the purpose of the title, I think NA are the "underground" yet "true" Avengers, who fight the good fight w/o sanction. That purpose means even more now, since Osborn's in charge. Still,i don't get the purpose of Mighty.
Guys. Your Live show recordings audio is pretty terrible. The stage dialogue is too quiet and since you love hyping the crowd, they are too loud. I'm assuming it's audio split from a camcorder, but maybe you should record from stage side. I don't think you want an audience for your audience and NOT you/guests.
Alright now for my question. Back in the nineties Sensational She Hulk used to break the fourth wall all the time and was hilarious. Then they completely changed the character and now she's not aware she's in a comic anymore. When did they change that and why? Deadpool still breaks the fourth wall and people love that! Did they even bother to explain why suddenly her personality was different etc? Which version do you guys prefer?
they didnt fight the Dark Avengers because they were helping Dr Doom with the distress call. Still New Avengers # 50 was a great issue. by the way welcome back Justin & X-23 kicks ass man.
What pisses me off the most is...the only place I'll be able to read about Jaime now is in freaking Teen Titans. And McKeever hasn't been doing good job with it.
Justin was resurrected before Batman... well, i just lost a bet. New Avengers continues to suck big monkey balls. That issue was completely pointless, what a waste of $4.99 and the ten minutes it took to read that rag. Anywho, congrats on the pull quote guys!
How do we know he isn't one already? I mean, I don't see a ring, but if those things can bring someone back from the dead, they probably know how to camoflague (sp?) themselves as well.
nice to see dan slott back again, the show's just not the same without all three of you guys ;)
it is weird how bendis will set up a story and then seemingly abandon it, or resolve it super-fast. like, i
thought cage's baby getting snatched was a setup for big intriguing story...but no. and now he changes the dynamic of the marvel u and focuses on the sorcerer supreme? odd.
Dan Slott's Mighty Avengers is my favorite Avengers book right now. Has that old time Avengers feel to it. Awesome how the show was on the cover of Hack/Slash.
Hi, welcome, you must be new here... We do at least three shows a week, so we'll be reviewing approx. eighteen more comics by next Thursday. Stay tuned! And play nice...

It's like nice, old school comics. Nothing that's going to blow your mind, but it's one of the more solid books out from DC.
