My father, too, was a B-25 bomber pilot w/ VMB-611. Daddy returned from the war in November 1945.. He stayed in close touch with his brothers until his death in 1995, and I was fortunate to have met many of the men in the squadron, both during Daddy's lifetime and at his funeral.

Thank you for this video. It's a fine tribute to your father and to all the men who served with him.

My father was a little boy in Bohol during the war and he said they would gather at hill top and cheer whenever they see American planes en route to attack Japanese positions. They don't know where the planes come from but sometimes they are heading to Mindanao and sometimes to Cebu. We are thankful for the sacrifices of your father for the liberation of the Philippines.

hey u know what. your dad and my grandpa flew together once and that was the same day they both died. my dad told me evrything and this is just amazing how i see the video of my granpa's friends son

My grandpa was a pfc of the 163rd regiment 41st division and fought and was wounded in march of 1945 in this same area.(ZAMBOANGA/MINDANAO)
