A wonderful song! Beautifuly written and beautifuly sung. Donny is a true professional, a true star and an absolute credit to his profession. A fabulous singer, a damn good dancer (Dancing With The Stars '09) and a lovely man.
To me, this album is by far his best work....wonderfully and masterfully done. I heard that he was wrote or was involved in the writing of each song, which made this one the most personal.
The most delicately emotional performance I've ever heard Donny give. His interpretation is perfect, and the range of his voice is phenomenal. It is a constant source of amazement to me that he can handle such an enormous range of musical styles -- he can belt, rock, play on the heartstrings with a ballad like this one, meld into harmony with his brothers -- and his musicianship is flawless -- the number of instruments he plays -- and plays well -- astounding. Wish there was a video of this.
This songs touches me so much. I can truly identify with the words. I am kind of going through something like that with someone. He is still in my neart though. Kinda hard to get him out. I love him. I am so glad that i looked him up. Thankyou..it really touched me. I will listen to it over and over again.
This is a great song... great lyrics, melody and sang so wonderfully..... what a voice!
