if you spotlight like this on a sports video, lets say, Football, do you do the same exact thing, but just keyframe it to follow along with the athlete?
Thanks man, I'm actually going through your entire channel picking up tutorials as I am getting into Post Production and want to brush up on Final Cut.
Hi is there a way you can gradually fade the colour in? like starting with the scalf then slowy including her arms clothing etc. I need this for a project and any help would be grand.
Wicked, but what exactly is it a slug does, as far as i can tell is it just a base, black layer. I haven'y really had a chance to try this out and as far as i can tell there is little use for a slug. Perhaps if you could explain that and what it was for in more detail this video would make more sense? Other than that amazing, im going for best editor award in my college and this is really helping me get the edge =]
@ghaz1ranka you would need to keyframe your video every frame if it's moving fast or whatever.
Form Example: when you moved the oval to the guy you want start keyframing everytime you need to. (every second would give you best result but, it will take a while.
Thank you SO MUCH! I've been working with a local television paranormal show. Been attempting to do this for quite a bit. Thanks :) Didn't think it was that simple.
You can make one by using the timecode generator and just crop. I'm currently looking for a plugin that will make one for free. I'll keep you updated!
yeah, I think that would be a cool topic to cover sometime. I am coming out with a Motion 3 DVD tutorial product this summer which will cover a lot more of Motion and how to do things like that.
