  • i never saw kim chi in a bag lol

  • that looks really good :)

  • Nice way to present the vedgetables.

This gives me a great idea when I start to do a demonstration on youtube as well :).

    Great video :).

  • No. It's British pancake.

    E. Asians don't use butter or milk in home cooking.

I'd suggest you check out "Korean style vegetable pancake" by Maangchi on youtube.

Seems every country use or like different ingredients.

She has many other simple Korean recipes that you can enjoy while you are in Korea.

  • Please keep in mind that most Chinese, and Koreans still remember what the Japanese has done to them Pre-WWI, WWI, and WWII. Yes. We have forgiven, but Korean is NOT Japanese.

  • my grandma was in oe the japanese camps in Indonesia, luckly she survived :D

  • lol, your british...

  • it did not look like KOREAN pancake

I never think that you going to use milk

It is ASIAN food not American or whatever...

Asian food don't use milk for such foods

And it not Okonomiyaki neither =.=

  • We love you because you are funny.

  • what kinda flour is that??

    can i use rice flour?

  • 1. you dont use milk just water

    2. you put the ingridents on the top of the jeon wilst in the pan NOT, mixed with the flour....

    3. why the heck you talk about japan 전/ 부침 is Korean NOT japanese......

  • .....what is that??? definately not a korean pancake....

  • You're using skim milk. Would it be better to use whole milk?

  • We are mean, but we still love your video. Notice the number of views.

  • There are so many negative comments on here? What do u people have against her? Sheese! I had some Korean pancake before, which was made by a Korean; and it was very similar to what this lady made. Yes, they put gimchee in it, and she also told me that u can put pretty much anything u like just like you can put pretty much anything you like in your sushi. Don't tell me that's not how they do it in Japan cuz I was actually told by a Japanese lady! Sheese people!

  • WHAT The HECK Did I just Watch?!? I don't think this lady has ever had a Korean Pancake, OR Okonomiyaki to be comparing the two... AND WHAT THE HECK is she doing a cooking video when she doesn't KNOW HOW TO cook OR owns any plates?? WHAT A Waste of 6 minutes of my life this was!!

  • I love Ranma, too.

  • why tuna!?

just put onions and seafood :3

  • If you already know that it will be "too dry" in the future, then, just add more water now, in the present.

We LOVE your video. Thanks for the lighter side of life.

  • She voiced over it after recording it, obviously.

  • Ok, I'm sorry for being mean.

  • At first, I thought she was Korean who speaks with an english accent. She is a cooking teacher?

  • She does not even own one plate, but she is doing a cooking show for the world to see.

I couldn't see much through my tears, from laughter. Very entertaining.

  • oh. my. gosh. The first warning against this recipe is the words, "you can pretty much add whatever you like". I applaud your enthusiasm, but wow. That was utter pajun FAIL. Lets' break it down: flour ; ok egg ; ok bagged kimchi ; not really green pepper ; no scallion ; ok tuna? ; oh god no milk? ; absolutely not butter in the pan? ; no Japan references for a Korean recipe ; no paint scraper as spatula? ; no wow, I'm sorry if I seem harsh, but wow, that recipe is rubbish.
  • OMG. Wow, I totally agree. My mom would be like what?!

  • I'm not Korean but i know you are not teaching the right method. You don't even have a plate ???!!! and a right pan ???!!!!

  • You're very brave to do something which you do not seem to be very familiar with. And Korean pancakes don't look rectangular or oblongish. Anyway, good try.

  • I'm not a very good cook, I'm still a rookie, but I still document my ventures time to time, I think it helps me understand my mistakes. But it seems to me you did everything well, and I respect that you uploaded this. <3

  • eh? this aint korean pancake?

  • Wow this is probably the worst cooking video I have ever seen. Please people Do No Try This At Home. Don't quit your day job lady, oh wait, I really hope this isn't her day job!!

  • Try to make something like this and then say that. It isn't easy to do something like this but I don't see you even trying r-tard.

  • Good god you freaking people. She said Japanese has a "similar" dish that also starts out with flour. Key word is "similar".

My question to the video maker? Did you eat that afterwards?

  • Holy shit, I just noticed. Who the fuck puts milk in Korean pancakes? I hope no one copies your receipt.

  • It is not common but some Korean put milk in the korean pancake especially for kid's.

You should try for your Korean pacakes too.

Thanks to Kungzoo for loving Korean food and making this wonderful video.

    Keep it up!!!!

  • It's so strange to have someone who confess

    1) She does not usually cook

    2) She does not have basic cooking utensils

    3) Does not own a plate

AND to have her cooking something that is not her native culinary.

Anyway, good try. But I think the only thing that is Korean is the KimChee. I guess if she removes the KimChee and adds curry it would be an Indian pancake !! LOL

  • Everything would have been fine if this video was not a "Cooking Class".

  • They eat these Korean pancakes in Japan?

  • I don't mind if people make negative comments, provided they are not racist or use swearwords - I will delete those. But, I should also point out that it's not easy to make a quality video, just as it isn't easy for me to do quality cooking.

  • I can't believe some of these comments. This lady isn't Korean but she is sharing her experiences. Many Koreans use this mix. So what if it isn't perfect. How many videos have you uploaded?

  • Three. However, my videos are not labeled "Class".

  • Yeah, that's how NOT to do a Korean Pancake. If this is a joke, then more power to you, you wasted your money on ruining perfect ingredients, in your deficient kitchen of yours. I guess knowing who you are, since you are trying so hard to conceal your identity to goes to show how embarrassing this is.

  • hahaaaa watta joke! that was a disaster (:

  • Being half Korean and teaching myself how to cook (my mother doesn't), I see a lot of the same mistakes I made when I first tried this dish. I like mine with zuchinni and onions and use vegetable oil to get a crunchy exterior. Best wishes from a fellow teacher.

  • Why did you even bother posting this? Is it because when you film disasters you can't look away?

The reason your pan isn't hot is because you're using a curved surface on an electric stove and there's little surface area actually being heated. And why is it called Korean and then you call it Japanese?

  • What a disaster why in the heck didn't she made the egg-flour-milk mixture before adding all that junk?

I'm british and I don't do alot of cooking? Why are you doing this then?

  • lol i love the way she says okonomiyaki

  • definitely one of the worst cooking videos i have seen on youtube. LOL

  • Wow. You should not be teaching people how to cook Korean food. This is gross, it's wrong, and you are giving Korean cooking a bad name.

  • lol at your comments! It's not meant to be taken TOO seriously...

  • Thats not the correct way to even do culinary art! Im scared, like ciplas say 0 experience really

  • hmm....thats not how you make it...

  • stop cooking korean food you dont know how to do anyhting

  • so scared to see the way she cooked....0 experience

  • SO FUNNY:)) it looks horrible!

  • That is the most horrid looking pajeon i have ever seen...

  • She's British and she doesn't do much cooking... Lol...

  • 'Im British so I dont do a lot of cooking!' Your lack of culinary skills are certainly not representative of BRITISH COOKING. Please don't give us a bad name! Funny to watch though. I like how you talk s l o w l y, like you are teaching Korean kids or something!

  • She is not British she is Aussie or Kiwi

  • uh she's british.
