In all fairness they did say "dash of dalmation" which means it is not a big part in the breeds developement but still in there. And I agree with Jet888, the deafness gene in dalmations and the ACD are similar.

@ozzyguy67 dipshit? wow.. you really told me! Just because an acd doesn't act like a dalmation, doesn't mean there is none in it's ancestry. But to state that there definately is not Dalmation contradicts the written history. I'll concede that the written history could be wrong, but it is the history after all...so maybe you shouldn't jump to the defense of the original poster; I'm sure he can speak for himself.
