  • Really, the only Reviewr on TGWTG that I enjoy alot is Brad Jones

  • Kickassia was fucking garbage it wasn't funny i turn that shit off after 5 min went outside and got a bagel then watched some porno to get that shit movie out my head

  • I once watched Kickassia like you....THEN I FINISH THE LOBOTOMY ME SELF!

  • Food addiction is not a joke

  • I like Doug walker tho...

  • Guys stop hateing I thought kick assia was boring and not funny but it was not stupid but any way this is his opoin so...yeah fuck off!

  • This video is fuckin' PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • alright, here's my opinion: doug walker and company wanted to make a miniseries catering to their fanbase, which i am part of, and i feel that although they weren't great actors, i liked the little in-jokes, references, etc. and i felt it succeeded for what it set out to do. it could've been better but it really didn't set out to do much but get some laughs from its fans, which apparently it did.

  • I just want to say first that I don't watch the Nostalgia Critic. His reviews are meant solely for entertainment purposes, rather than Spoony or Linkara who have a mix between entertainment and reviewing.

That being said, THIS MOVIE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD, THE SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE SUPPOSED TO SUCK and THE ACTING IS'NT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD (by the way, you don't have to be an actor to judge acting). I will admit, though, that the jokes DO suck and that is why I also think it sucks.

  • As much as I agree with you (Kickassia being total bomb and all that), I do have to point out that Family Guy did not invent the idea of establishing a country within a country. It's been done countless of times, but propably the first instance is in a movie Passport To Pimlico, in 1949. The movie is so absurd in it's plot twists and everything that could go wrong in ones own country it's hilarious. And it's actually based on a true stroy. If you like old movies you should totally check it out.

  • Oh, I love you, you wonderful gigantic bastard.

Everything Doug Walker does is annoying and hypocritical.

Glad I'm not alone in this realization.

  • Anyone who enjoyed this to any degree needs serious help.

  • Kickassia - eh. I watched it. I wasn't impressed. To be fair, I like Doug Walker and most of his earlier work (he can make good movies, go take a look at his fashbacks). I don't like any of the contributors other than Brad Jones/Doug. For kickassia, I wasn't sucked in, it had no soul, no message. Nothing to say about anything. It was drivel. It was clearly written towards a younger demo who like absurdist irrelevant humor which connects to nothing whatsoever.

  • I like NC when he's not substituting comedy for loud shrieking, but Failassia was unfunny and unneeded.

  • wait kickassias a movie? i thought it was an insanaty test

  • I want my 92 min back and you could not pay me to watch it again for any given amount of money.

  • I sort of have mixed feelings about the TGWTG movies. I don't think they're masterpieces but I don't think they're complete pieces of shit either, but that's just my opinion. I have to admit that I have respect for you just unleashing your anger on a movie that I'm pretty sure a lot of TGWTG fans love and would hate to see bashed on. You and FilmMasterAdam would probably have a long heated discussion over the topic since he put this movie as one of his Top 15 Best Films of 2010.

  • I once watched Kickassia like you....THEN I TOOK AN ARROW IN THE KNEE!!

  • Suburban Knights is alot better

  • all i'm going to say is that it's hard as f*** to do a movie, let alone one that is over an hour. i would know, i made one for little under half an hour, and it's complete shit. but if it's really bad then i would either call this a flick that is so bad it's good or a guilty pleasure, because honestly, it wasn't that bad to me. it was entertaining for a low budget flick and it seemed like they had fun with it. thumbs up, it was a good attempt.

  • IT WAS SHITTY ON PURPOSE AND MOLLOSSIA IS AN ACCUAL NATION SO WASNT RIPPEDOFF OF FAMILY GUY AND TEAM THAT GUY WITH THE GLASSES HAS ALOT MORE ACTING POWER THAN MOST OF THE ACTORS TODAY AND YOU KNOW WHAT IT WAS LOW BUDGET AND YOU CAN GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU GIANT BASTARD

  • @D0m0Pr0 I seriously hope you aren't serious about this. If so, I feel sorry for you.

  • @He11sing920 well the thing about mollosia is true but that comment about tgwtg being more talented than any hollywood actor is complete bullshit

  • So, by saying that Kickassia was shitty on purpose, you're saying that Doug STILL made a shitty movie. You might as well admit it, Doug Walker is a talentless twat who is not funny, original, and above all, a joke thief. This is why people like me have no respect for him. He's just as bad as the Irate Gamer and the Game Dude combined. He can't act, he bitches and nitpicks about pointless crap in his reviews. Final note, I don't fucking feel sorry for TGWTG fanboys like you, so grow up.

  • @BuzzsawtheHedgehog Wait a minute. Are saying this about Emer?

  • @ignoremenoworelse

No, I was saying all this stuff about the Nostalgia Critic, Doug Walker. I was pointing the facts out on why he's not all that great to D0M0Pr0. I've always been a fan of Emer's work, which in my opinion, is a little better.

  • @BuzzsawtheHedgehog No, i'm just confused by all your word choice. You keep saying you. It just seems like you think Emer was a fanboy who couldn't understand why Doug sucks.

  • @D0m0Pr0 what a retard...

  • AND KICKASSIA IS ALOT BETTER MOST OF THE SHIT HOLLYWOOD IS PUTTING OUT THESE DAYS

  • @D0m0Pr0 umadbro?

  • I watched 50 minutes of the movie and was amused couple of times, the rest I was bored to death. This video, though, made me laugh.

  • Nostalgia Critic should review Kickassia

  • You have a right to an opinion but they way you voice it is so childish. You never explain why you dislike the reviews of the TGWTG team, you just say they're not funny and drop a 'fucking' in there. You also make note of Doug's bad acting and you name him a hypocrite because he comments on others acting but you yourself say he isnt funny, but neither are you so arent you making the same mistake?

  • @Mrcinemonster So, in a review of this movie, you expected me to drop everything and list off the bullet points citing why I feel that the "talent" of TGWTG are not entertaining? Sure, makes sense to me.

Also, I never claimed to be doing this to be funny. Any humor that comes out of these is just purely coincidental. And, when I come up with something that people think is funny (shockingly, it has happened a few times), it's better than the lazy shit Doug churns out and passes for humor.

  • @Mrcinemonster "You never explain why you dislike the reviews of the TGWTG team, you just say they're not funny and drop a 'fucking' in there." So... exactly how all of their reviews go?

  • i ready liked the movie. i won't bother explaining why.

  • @Alucard9692010 It's cool, man. I don't have a problem if people liked this movie. I just didn't like the movie myself.

  • @He11sing920 i think is just as you said, it't for the fans. the problem you are having is that is just for the fans i think. you might not get all the in-side jokes.

  • I admit I didn't like Kickassia when it was first being shown, but after a while, I started to enjoy it a bit more. It's not great, but it's certainly not bad. Enjoyable video though.

  • You say that they stole the plot from family guy...yet the republic of molossia is a real country.

family guy most likely parodied the country.

  • @Logaky7 Molossia might be it's own country. However, taking land that is within the US (but is not part of the US proper), and renaming it with a stupid name was done with Family Guy first.

Not only that, but Petoria sounds a bit less retarded than Kickassia. And, since Petoria was intended to sound infantile and stupid, what does that say about Kickassia?

Also, you make it sound like Molossia is the only micronation in the world. That is far from the truth.

  • @He11sing920

Yes, I see what you mean.. But Kickassia takes a different approach to family guy's ideas.

They both have a incredibly similar plot, but Kickassia is taking an already developed micronation and just renaming. ( And I know the republic of Molossia isn't the only micro nation in the world, it is the only one I know that is just a house on a block of land.

Besides, I agree that the movie sucks... I just think it isn't as bad as you state in this video.

  • @Logaky7 No, the republic of Molassia is not a country. There are thousands of "Micronations" in the world, but they aren't classified as countries, or even seperate states.

  • My opinion of TGWTG has cooled over the years for sure. Still, I'll maintain Kickassia is okay. I got a few laughs out of it. Suburban Knights was fucking terrible though.

  • I like TGWTG- reviews and the other movie (quite)... but Kickassia bored me- oh hell it did!

  • I like Doug, as well as many others on the site, but Kickassia was a bit......meh.

  • I actually really like the Nostalgia Critic. Kickassia though was horrible. I have never made it through the whole thing before I shut it off. Doug is great at reviews but movies, he needs to stay away from.

  • Now do Doug Walkers Suburban Knights!!!!!

  • Hey Hellsing920, you ever see Killer Clowns From Outer Space?

  • This was awesome.

  • @Joelaroc7 I agree.

  • 4:58 EPIC MEAL TIME SONG!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

  • good to see you doing some sort of reviewing again hellsing.

  • Hey Hellsing, how about you do a Reaction & Review on Suburban Knights?

  • And So It Begins.

  • The fans actually compare this to Monty Python and the Holy Grail lvls of silliness and awesome. Maybe you should illustrate why MP actually makes it work

  • I did like this film, but hey, you are free to review this film and say it's shit, because that's your opinion. I disagree with it, but I can still see why you didn't like it, as there were some things I disliked. One thing I do disagree is the idea that Family Guy was able to do a better job with the plot, since I no longer like Family Guy and think it's an unfunny sack of dogshit, but hey, I have taste :P

  • Doug Walker and the rest of TGWTG actually wanted to make this film bad. They made it poor and cheesy on purpose just to be ironic to their reviews.

  • @awwq89 Well, making something shitty on purpose is still making something shitty. Trying to praise it is literally polishing a turd that tried and failed to be ironic.

  • @He11sing920 I'm not praising it. I'm just saying that it is a novelty film, his fans saw it too, they thought it was poor as well, but they still enjoyed it because they know Doug Walker has made better films before. Besides, it was only made for the die-hard TGWTG fans. Only for the people who enjoy the TGWTG team no matter what they do.

  • @awwq89 What was the point in that?

  • I think you went into this prepared to hate it. As a fan I'll admit that it didn't live up to the hype on the website and some bits are annoying. Still I maintain that it's still enjoyable. Suburban Knights was lame though.

(Prepares for being called a retarded fan boy)

  • What kind of 360 do you have? Just curious...

  • @AOfan009 Well, I don't have one anymore. But, when I filmed this, I had an Elite model.

  • @BlindmelonKen Well, it's gone now (thank god)

  • You didn't mention Clerks when you went over your 2nd excuse "The movie was on a low budget." Unless you've never seen that movie. In which case I would tell you to check it out as soon as possible. I happened to like that film, and some of kevin smith's other works as well.

  • @HellfireTheAwesome I didn't mention Clerks because compared to the other examples I gave, Clerks had a somewhat sizable budget. Granted, it's still tiny by Hollywood standards, but it was a bit high when compared to some other films.

Also, as of this moment, there are only two Kevin Smith films I haven't seen yet, and those are Jersey Girl (which I have no interest in seeing), and Red State (which I would really like to check out some time). He is a talented director.

  • @He11sing920 Well granted, a 20-30 thousand dollar budget is HUGE compared to the budget for this AND the other movies you mentioned. At least, I think that was the budget for Clerks. I'm not entirely sure on that.

  • I liked it.it was for the fans

  • @mashpotato59

The insane, fan boyish obsessed fans who go rabid against anyone who doesn't like what they like, yes.

  • Watched in daily 15 min instalments Kickassia entertained me first time, but then I had diminished expectations since Nostalgia Critics vids then had been awful (Drop Dead Fred's his worst review ever). I still laugh at "you really put the dick in dictatorship" but it's drawn out with overlong slapstick. Cinema Snob's the only good actor amidst a shrill bunch. It satirises the ego trips and pecking orders of geek circles but that goes nowhere. Aside from Snob, Welshy & Roses, the site sucks now.

  • Why the hell is there a snake vore fetish video in the related videos section? O_O

  • A rip off of Family guy? Films and shows sometimes have the same premise.

So all time traveler stories are rip offs of "The time machine" by HG Wells?

All Zombie films are rip offs of Night of the living dead?.

And the Space balls thing is a reference to nostalgic film you see the parallel? A bunch of film reviewers referencing a film SHOCK HORROR!

After that you mostly just be a dickhead with petty name calling.

But I admit the film was to much of a plug for channel awesome's minor members.

  • @benitofinito Wow. I didn't know that stories about the creation of/conquering of a micronation was as common as time travel or zombies. You sure taught me there, man.

Also, there is a difference between referencing something and ripping it off wholesale. Someday you will hopefully learn the difference.

Now, did you have any valid points, or was this just a little bitch fit on your part?

  • @He11sing920 admitted it's no gem but he had to make a script based on channel awesome so from the word go they were restricted. Making a film involving only people from or associated to TGWTG would have it limitations. (Which is actually one of complaints)

You commented on their acting skills but not even mainstream critics can act most of the time so kinda of a no brainier complaint. Also the NC and Brad Jones are good actors I think but yet again limited to a cast of critics nonetheless.

  • @He11sing920 I'm also sure that the "starting your own country" story could predate the Family guy show.

  • When it began, one of the most interesting youtube shows currently on!

  • Good choice. I like NC but ya I couldn't handle an hour and half of his shit. What the hell was he thinking when he did this? I mean he makes fun of awful movies so he decides he's going to make one himself. I would rather watch Kazaam, Howard The Duck, and Good Burger back to back rather than watch this garbage.

  • Comment removed

  • So, if someone held a gun to you and told you, you had to watch Kickassia or "Salo or the 120 Days Of Sodom", which one would you pick.

  • @RdVirus777 I would almost have to go with "Salo" in that hypothetical.

  • haha good review dude, i'm surprised i havnt seen you on youtube before.

  • Sooo, you'll review Suburban Knights soon? I mean; we all want you to.=D

  • Good review. By the way, what is your favorite and least favorite movies of all time?

  • Jitilfu xi piż inti ħmar jack!

  • @LiveLyricsX I ġew. Forsi jekk inti ltqajna ras tiegħek ta 'ħmar tiegħek, inti jkollok ndunat li.

See, I can go to a website and translate crap, too. Now, would you like to try that in English? And, could you try not being a douchebag about it?

  • @Joelaroc7 Inti għandek bżonn tikseb out u nikseb stabbiliti, ħmar.

  • Doug Walker apologized when he made his first Let's Play. He should also apologize for making this shitty movie.

  • My exact reaction to Transformers 2.

  • Someones jealous of a certain group of internet celebrities, lol.

Still a good first reaction & response, despite the glaring, GLARING bias.

  • @BloodPump on a side note, I hated Kickassia too, even though I'm a Spoony & Critic fan.

  • I'd agree if you didn't insult the people who liked the movie.

  • dude you're huge

  • hahaha I agree with that Santa Christ part. That part was too wrong

  • PLEEEAAAASE!!!! YOU HAVE TO DO A REVIEW OF A CLOCKWORK ORANGE!!!

  • @TheAndiePerson I can't. I have seen the movie many times. Thus, it isn't in contention for a Reaction & Review.

  • @He11sing920 Ah, I'm not surprised. I had some other suggestions, Audition, and the widely banned Nine Inch Nails music videos "Happiness in Slavery" and "Gave up" which you can find on youtube. I wouldn't be surprised if you've already seen these too haha.

  • 4:24 I love how the music of the movie actually matched your mood and what you were saying

  • @He11sing920 okay so once again i respect your opinion (sort of) anyway why do you hate the movie if it was just intended for the fans? the movie is not supposed to be good it is supposed to be just for the fans. and it obviously not a movie if it is on his website for free. oops.

  • @TheZigZagChannel I'm sorry, but I don't buy the excuse of "it's for the fans". That would be like if someone trashed one of my videos, and I said that it was only for my die hard fans, and they had no right to critique it by their standards.

Also, while you can watch it for free, the moment he started selling it on DVD, he left himself wide open to be reviewed. At least, that's how I see it.

    I hope you understand.

  • @He11sing920 yeah i know right that was a stupid idea to put it on dvd because you can just burn the free version on a dvd, stupid doug. i think you are a funny, smart, and clever guy.

  • kickassia is literally unwatchable, so I can't even declare it worst movie of all time

  • It's like they're trying to hard to show that they're trying too hard to be epic.

  • :/ i... liked kickassia

  • Hah ok thanks, I have a much better idea of what the movie's about now.

  • What family guy episode is this film like?

  • @dearallyson The episode is called "E Peterbus Unum".

  • I stopped watching the movie after Brad Jones left. He was the only highlight in this movie, and even his acting wasn't great.

  • Well...*I* really liked it...

  • doug complains about people overacting in his reviews but that's all he does and it's pretty painful to watch. comes off as trying way too hard to be funny

  • I loved kickassia but I found your review of it hilarious.

I can't wait for your review of suburban knights cause if you thought kickassia was bad...oh man...

  • Someone needs to make a Tshirt up. "I watched Kickassia."

  • Dough hv the power of initiative to bring talents together, they all may not be the great entertainer but at least they tried and that was something to appreciate about.t.

  • Great job.

  • I'm a fan of TGWTG and you do have a point, still as a fan, I do earnestly believe that the main flaw of this movie is that the main plot is flawed, also selling it on DVD is a flaw to itself because as you said, this was made for their fans, so why they would release it on DVD, when you can watch it for free online, I have no idea.

  • 8:42 - "ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED! Watched Kickassia." LOL

Seriously, what do you think of achievements/trophies on the Xbox 360/PS3?

  • @DanielEast I think that achievements and trophies are mindless wastes of time. When I had my 360, I rarely if ever gave a rat's ass about the achievements because they didn't mean anything.

  • Well, You have a point.

I actually did laugh at this movie, just because I'm freak enough. It looked like a movie made by fans of "The room", trying to make a "so bad it's good" movie. And ended up making a bad one, or one just for a few freaks to watch and understand. They need to get original.

To me, this movie is an experiment gone horribly wrong, and the team didn't seem to give a sh*t about the movie at all.

  • I agree with you Hellsing, the moment he put it on DVD... It can be criticized, that's the problem with TGWTG.com, they are so above themselves that if you even criticize anything they do, there fan boys instantly attempt to tear that person a new asshole... The people of TGWTG hide behind there fans... It's fucking pathetic...

  • Do you hate all of the content on TGWTG? or just the movie independently?

  • @shadowguard29 Well, I am not a fan of quite a few of the contributors on TGWTG, but I wouldn't say I hate all the content. Hell, I have a friend who's a contributor over there, so to say I hate everything on the site would be a little misleading.

However, I would happily say that I hate the movie independently.

  • @He11sing920 Ah, i see. I was curious after watching this. Thank you for answering.

  • @He11sing920 A few things: Molassia is a real place in Nevada. Second, can you act? So if you can't act, you have no right to tell people they can't? So all of those movie critics can just go STFU then? Also, if you don't like the contributors, why would you watch the movie? The movie is made specifically for fans of TGWTG, and there are some inside jokes that people who don't watch the contributors will not get. Also, Spoony is overacting on purpose.

  • @CrazyMcNinja

If Doug doesn't happen to like a movie, HE shouldn't watch it then.

  • @He11sing920 Also, none of them are actors. Also, when you shoot a movie in four days, with barely any money, with people who aren't actors, it tends to come out like this. And your argument that it could've been a great way to bring new people into TGWTG? Well, considering it's for the anniversary of TGWTG, most people wouldn't have a reason to give a damn. I'm not quite sure why you did. If you hate the contributors, why did this movie even seem like a good thing to review?

  • @CrazyMcNinja Sorry, man. But these two comments have proven nothing. You either mention things that have no bearing in this (Molossia is real), or you are making excuses I have already shot down in previous comments (it's for the fans, it was shot in four days, they aren't actors, etc.).

Do you have any real points to bring up?

  • @He11sing920 Not really. I'm still wondering why you took this movie so seriously. I know you said "it's on DVD, so it can be reviewed as if it were a legitimate movie," but it isn't. A bunch of reviewers got together made something that was stupid and just for fun, put it up for free on the website, and let the fans have fun with it. Also, please don't watch Suburban Knights. You'll probably kill yourself because of how bad you think it may be.

  • @CrazyMcNinja If they didn't think it was something decent, they wouldn't have released it on DVD. After all, as you stated, you can watch it for free on their site. So, why would they put it out on DVD unless they wanted more people to see it. Thus, they did take it much more serious than I did.

While I am on that subject, how am I taking this "so seriously"? All I did was review a movie. Nothing more.

  • @CrazyMcNinja Kickassia and Suburban Knights are the worst movies to be made... ever.

  • I have never seen anyone reviewing Kickassia so seriously. Its not really a movie (also not originally released as one), just a bunch gags and sketch based on TGWTG memes and characters hold together by a nonsensical plot. If you happen to know and like some of the TGWTG shows, you can really get a lot of laughs and jiggles out of Kickassia. If you dont know them it probably mostly lost on you. For me it was more entertaining than many "real" movies i have seen lately. SK was not quit as good.

  • @tbk2010 As I have stated before, when this abomination was released on DVD, it can now be reviewed as a proper movie. Thus, I had every right to point out the unfunny failings of Doug and his band of yes men.

  • @He11sing920

Thats a pretty random criteria - especially since its been only released on the channel awesome store where only fans of tgwtg will find it. Its not like you can buy it at walmart or amazon. But even if it was, it still has a very specific target audience of pop-and-internet-culture-savvy geeks for most of which it will very much work. Its not selling itself as anything else.

  • @He11sing920

Oh, and of course you have the right to point out what you dislike about the "movie". Not going to say anyting else.

  • I completely respect your opinion, but I just wanted to clarify a couple things. Not only was this movie made on no budget, it was made in four days. I don't know if anyone else has brought that up, but it was made on a very rushed schedule because that was all the time they had to get all those different people together. Also, they had no intention of using this as an introduction for newcomers. They've said it before, and you mentioned it: It's for the fans, people who already know these guys.

  • @CapnSammich I know full well about the budget and the schedule. The original Little Shop of Horrors was shot in less time and with less money, and it is a far superior film in every respect.

I thought I mentioned that in the video, but I could be wrong.

  • I liked Kickassia and Surburban Knights myself, but after seeing all the fair and positives reviews of it, it was interesting to see what a negative review of it would be like. "-And hopefully I am partially sane by the time this thing is over" lol, that is how I felt when I watched "Crossroads". lol.

  • I'm a big fan of Doug Walker and even I thought Kickassia was stupid.

  • Awww, I haven't seen this yet. Is it really that bad if you're a fan?

  • @thejoebuck86 Depends on how big of a fan. If you're familiar enough with the personalities involved, you'll probably at least enjoy some of it. If you're not very familiar, you'll probably have about the same reaction as Hellsing.

  • i liked kickassia (for the most part), but please do suburban knights, i just dont get it. i cant think of a part that was actually funny, there were one or two places that made me smile a bit, but not actually laugh. it just seemed that the joke was 'lets dress up' i have probably missed the point, but i just didnt find it funny, also HOW did it cost nearly $50,000 to make kickassia? unless the guy from mollosia wanted $45000, and thats where the budget went.

  • I agree with you.

I enjoy watching some of the people on tgwtg doing reviews, but I can't stand the immature and pointless sketches that they force in from time to time, totally trying to be like AVGN.. and not even he is funny when he does the sketches. This movie was just one long sketch.

I wish Doug would try to make a movie with intelligent humor instead of "LOLSORANDUMB xD" humor that these movies have.

  • have you seen the vomit trilogy?

  • @sheriffii If you mean the Vomit Gore Trilogy, I covered the first film in it a few weeks back. If you go to my channel, you should be able to find it.

  • tgwtg's Kickassia?! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take it you're not a big fan of NC, huh?

Me personally, I kinda liked Kickassia, but it is a special treat because Kickassia is the 2nd anniversary movie/s

  • in my opinion the annual special ranks in my list 1. Suburban knights 2. the brawl 3. kickassia

  • You forget about the toxic avenger, it had a budget of $4500.

  • @SlavicDemon "$475000

  • U think that's bad; u should take the time to watch the animated Titanic movies!! Those SUCKED!!!

  • Everytime you went Doug Walker can go FUCK himself, I laughed my ass OFF.

  • Ridicule Tommy wiseau for taking every part in the movies development

Edited, written, and directed by Dough Walker.

This rubbish travesty of a film literally made every review NC has ever spewed irrelevant.

  • @RIPdixiecarter

    *Doug

  • wow i couldn't even get threw the trailer...

  • Great review Hellsing! I have to say that I seen it once all the way and I don't plan on seeing it again. I didn't care for it at all. I would like to recommend these good videos. One is College Saga by Mark Leung and Archon Defender by Dave4096. I believe you will find some entertaining value on those two. If not, then I will apoligize. ;)

  • Y'know what other film was made for the fans and not meant to be taken seriously? The Street Fighter movie. That doesn't stop it from being bad or immune to criticism. If Doug Walker thinks it's okay to insult a movie like that, then we have every right to insult his stuff.

  • Well I'm a fan of That Guy With The Glasses however I respect your opinion I do look back and Kickassia and I only recall laughing at a few of the jokes so you're pretty much right it wasn't that good of a movie. I wish you luck on all your future Reaction and Reviews.

  • Question, Are you planning to review the 3rd anniversary special "Suburban Knights"?

  • @TyX25 I might, but I am not going to do it for a while. I am going to wait until Doug tries to sell it on DVD. Then, I will bittorrent the complete version (just like I did with Kickassia), and rip it to pieces if the need arises.

  • @He11sing920 suburban knights was kinda good. The acting improved. The jokes were better. some acters sucked. I gotta admit the effects were bad it made kickassia look like avatar. The plot improved. Its got a few holes. Nice plot twists. You wont really get it because the jokes were making fun of bad movies he had reviewed. It tried to be so bad its good and it succeed sometimes. failed sometimes If you can survive the occasional bad jokes and plot holes you may enjoy it. less crap cameos

  • Dammit Hellsing, I love your videos, but I think Kickassia is funny as hell

  • if you already knew it was a movie made for the fans and already seemed to dislike Doug Walker, then why did you even bother your time watching it?

this is more a trolling than a review to me, but i see this is an old review. your review of salo and Cannibal Holocaust was good though.

  • @goldieboylover986 The way I see it, any movie should be able to stand on it's own without the crutch of "it's for the fans".

"Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" was made for the fans. I am a Kevin Smith fan, and I didn't like the movie because it was nothing but references to previous works with nothing of value to connect it all.

So, it seems that anything that is made "for the fans" just won't get a fair shake from me.

  • @He11sing920 true, but unlike "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" this movie was never released to the official public. you wouldnt normally know about it unless you knew about the site or any of the people in it.

i am not gonna call it a MASTERPIECE OF HIGH CINEMA, but considering it was made by amateurs, filmed in 4 days, had no budget and was done just because they all wanted to, i would say it is decent.

btw, did you pay for it or did you see it for free?

  • @goldieboylover986 When Kickassia was released on DVD, it was released to the official public. At least, that's how I see it, anyway.

I watched it for free. I downloaded it so I could do the episode whenever. In fact, I haven't paid for anything I have reviewed so far. There is a series of films coming up that I paid for, but that won't be for a while.

  • @He11sing920 i would have been more understanding if you had paid for it. it is ok and i like the efoort they put in to it, but if they had demanded money from viewers i would probably feel the same way you did.

i see that you have been watching films where films like August underground, Salo and Holocaust can be found on film-list over the top most disturbing films ever made.

if i should recommend you anything it would be Eraserhead. not the bloodiest or goriest movie, but it is.... memorable;)

  • I agree wholeheartedly with this review. I was a huge nc fan and was appalled with this film. Since kickassia his videos have taken a huge plunge in quality. There are way more talented people on yt who deserve a movie way more than these shmucks.

  • I usually love your reviews and channel dude but I still don't understand this review here. You hated every second of this movie and wanted everyone in it to die yet you were part of a parody knockoff of it called Punchdickia? Isn't that what Kickassia is; just a parody movie that shouldn't be taken too seriously?

  • @starsoldier1 First off, the whole "everyone can fuck off and die" remark was sarcasm. I thought it was obviously a sarcastic remark, but I guess I was wrong.

Second, no one said anything about Kickassia being a parody until I said I wasn't going to tolerate the whole "it's for the fans and you have no right to belittle it" excuse.

Besides, even if it was, at least
