  • You can believe every word of it.

  • OMG, do I look like her?

  • "Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." ~ Buddha ♥

  • when she sang, my head said "holy." then my lip-s followed

  • Love her dearly, + She is at The Kravits Center this Sat. Nite 8PM Hope I can go. Thats in West Palm Beach , Florida, I believe on Okechobee Blvd. just east of I95 interstate. Would be THE GREATEST SHOWS this year!!!! (save me a seat!)

  • It is good to see "young" jazz musicians, guitar players, sax players, drummers, piano players, singers, etc. And she is a great example. God bless jazz. CB

  • good wtf

  • hard to believe but i got into her after seeing her on sesame street with elmo, it was her voice, the fact that she could sing those notes with ease...

  • @fidelthebarman lol thanks to elmo then :D

  • Elvis Costello? Really? Really? How did that happen?

  • I also like Barbara Jean - new songs, similar voice, CD called SWEET -

  • Yeah, very few singers can do as good as Diana do. But....is it a sin if I say, I love Julie London and Ella Fitzgerald versions better ?

  • now you see....you are lonely .....

  • SIN DUDA NO TIENE IGUAL. HERMOSA.............

  • Damn..... She is the best. I would marry her tomorrow. I want a wife just like her. I will wait till I find someone like her. Class all the way.

  • honestly . . . i appreciate most of diana's songs . . . but, crystal gayle can fart in diana's face with this song . . . get a life.

  • Got sexy?

  • Darling heart, you have got this song down, you are the queen princess of this flow. So mellow, my heavens 3 times over, child you have elevated this song to the very atoms of our being. Talk about relaxing and soothing, and the band is so great with her, the whole mix is incredible. I wish the world could hear this. Sing it on baby, and I mean, sing it on.

  • Stunning voice!

  • Thank you very much !

  • Diana is very cool, but to me, Julie London owns this song, that not dissin' Diana, just my humble opinion!

  • @Lloydhl I Agree. I like Diana a lot (my husband LOVES her) but the best version is by Julie.

  • @noalittleaboutlot and where is ella in this conversation??

  • excelente !!! excelente !!!

  • I've liked Diana Krall's work since I first heard it several years ago. This video gave me my first shot at seeing Diana as well as hearing her. QUESTION: In the shots of the city interspersed with the shots of Diana and her sidemen, what city is being depicted? Montreal? Paris?

  • Actually, I've just cried, while you was singing!

  • i dont like it at allllll

  • my mom likes this song

  • totally chill out aww .

  • My name is Diana,haha

  • Comment removed

  • She sings it differently than Julie London...room for both interpretations in my music library.

  • she can't sing it better than Julie London who sing the original version and the best.

  • @The170460@The170460 This version is OK. I don't like too much the strings behind. This should be more sober. Please try Ella Fitzgerald in 1961 from the album "Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie!" made an awesome version, very close to Julie London. Hard to say "who sings" better. They are both excellent.

  • @TheRunner75 at last i prefer the Imelda May cover with Jeff Beck.

  • @The170460 This version is OK. I don't like too much the strings behind. This should be more sober. Please try Ella Fitzgerald in 1961 from the album "Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie!" made an awesome version, very close to Julie London. Hard to say "who sings" better. They are both excellent.

  • michael bubles version is way better

  • @sarafranco100 ha....

  • love her style

  • She's amazing, and one of my all time favorite singers. LOVE!!!

  • I love you Diana awesome

  • REally good cover. More 'bluesier' than London's. Their voices are similar, but Julie's is 'prettier'--room for both.

  • Imagine this voice, in your ear, at night. Oooooooh!

I don't even want to think about those piano-trained fingers!

Elvis Costello is a lucky man!

  • Imagine this voice, in your ear, at night. Oooooooh!

Elvis Costello is a lucky man!

  • Lisa Ekdahl's version sounds sweet, but this one is smoking sexy!

  • Una de mis preferidas.

  • It´s a Beautiful version, is a great voice,

  • I like this version

  • WOW, Beautiful, talented and soulfull to the core. It just don't get any better. I have ad her CD for some time, but live, I could watch her all night.

  • Anybody knows the exactly the sequence of chords of this version..as I found it in tabs ultimate guitar but I think that these are not the correct version....thank you in advance....mi oido es bueno pero no para tanto para descubrir algunas sutiles tonalidades ejecutadas en esta versiòn jazzeada.....

  • @awreal the version i found (I just can only see the first page without buying it):

    Gm Eb Gm6 Gm7 Cm7 F13 F7#5 Bbmaj7 Am7 D7 Dm7 G7#5 C9

seems likely this is the right version...

  • me caso, les juro que me caso!!

  • Diana is one of our best contemporary jazz singer today. A style of her own ... very pleasant and relaxing.

  • Sweet. Tasty. Jazzy. Yup.

  • A lot of people are too quick to cast Krall as a dilettante. However, she is a fine pianist, fine singer, and she KNOWS how to interpret a song such as this one, which most people race right through with nary a thought to the words, the timing, the breathing, the space.

    FLAMESUIT ON.

  • @gingervytis I would add the band she is playing with. They play wonderfully all the time. It's the whole blend. And if anything, Diana has brought Jazz to contemporary fresh levels and this is just how it sounds today, whether you like or not, it is still a high quality vocal jazz music.

  • I've seen Diana lose her focus, pitch & expression before but this version of this song isn't one of those times! Flawless!

Julie & Ella got nothin on Diana here.

  • meh meh...

  • Thought I was 5 again back in the "50"s, listening to Julie London on the Hi-Fi, listening to Diana cry me a River.

  • Oh my God! A Viagra pill ain't got NUTHIN' on Diana Krall.

  • je prefere la version de joe cocker

  • This is so perfect

  • I love Diana. You have to really feel the subtleties.

  • nice tune

  • Well actually it is everything (Gestalt) .. her voice, piano, bass, guitar (Anthony Wilson -- extraordinaire), tempo, bridge, riffs, conclusion ... ending.

  • classic. and she's hot too

  • i like this version but to me......... well for now michael buble is the best one i've heard so far

  • boring.

  • Diana's voice is like cream sliding along in rich, sweet pleasure. She is awesome.

  • I'm related to her :)

  • Que rica rola diana k. Te amp

  • this in my opinion is only second to julie london's....that's the first i ever heard and haven't found one that can compare except maybe Diana's....it's in her voice.

  • It is a really good version but I personally prefer the version of Barbra Streisand .

  • powerfull voice

  • Well this is real Music <3

This kind of music is about timing, feeling, and the special touch of voice.

It keeps you excited the whole time and you cant wait to hear what is next.

Love her deep souli voice =)

  • Krall is married to Elvis Costello, and they had twin boys who will be five years old in December.

  • Yeah, Julie London was great, but we seem to forget that she and Bobby Troup were jazz... (or maybe pretend they weren't)... They're generally thought of more as pop artists, musically. And nowadays, the couple are probably best remembered as Nurse Dixie MaCall and Dr. Whatsisname...

  • She has lesbo voice.

  • a big hot lady

  • sort of manly... not a negative thing, just, uh, takin' note... ._.

  • @DistinctiveSound i s a very big singer and a very beautiful lady

  • Great, a song from past to feature, listen 1967 , Dutch Studio GTB Den Haag, Hans Van der Toorn as Hu and his Hiltops, The master tape was much, much better, please rerelease this. surch on youtube.com/watch?v=j0o2sP-m9Ko&feature=related

  • Fantástico!

  • she's so pretty when she sings

  • Diana, Ella, Julie... They are amazing, ofcourse. But, did you forget someone. How about Dinah?

  • a mi me gusta la version de aerosmith... steven tyler la hace muy bien

  • i love the aerosmith version...! steven tyler make it great

  • i love her music but sometimes it sounds like she doesnt fell the sexy in her songs she just sings it. in any case the music is awesome

  • i love her music but sometimes it sounds like she doesnt fell the sexy in her songs she just sings it. in any case the music is awesome

  • i love diana the only problem is that when she sings i sometimes feel as if the doesnt feel the sexy, she just sings it. in every case shes great so i dont mind very much:)

  • she sounds like a pale copy of Nina Simone.

  • She does the best version of the song hands down. Diana is amazing

  • julie london its better than this version

  • She can do much better than that...

  • WHUT UP J-HAM ON THE BRUSHES KEEPIN' IT SMOOTH.

  • il y a pas mal de belles versions de cette chanson, celle de la grande Ella par exemple, mais celle-ci est sans aucun doute ma favorite. quel langoureux plaisir !

  • Diana Krall is one of the classiest Jazz singers of today. She can do nothing wrong...

  • A friend of mine says that Diana sings all her songs the same. Well, if she does, I'll never get sick of it. Can we define the smokiest song in existence here?--and singer too?? I feel like going out and smoking a Pall Mall now--ha, ha

  • @windstorm1000

    Hell yes....after that, I need a cigarette!!!!!!!

  • Yep....and a cold shower! :-)

  • @TheMicrok Ella's version of this song can't be compared to Diana's version, anyway. Both of these women have totally different personalities, and so each version is a complexity all its own. That's the beauty of jazz. I also like how Ella improvises throughout the song. It's amazing. I also like Diana's version.

  • *cough* OrigionalJulieLondonisbetter *cough*

    Never mind

  • awsom...

  • Simplesmente uma Deusa!!!!

  • Mari Wilson hands down better. 'Touch of finesse' my butt.

  • Intento no amar a Diana, pero la pone dificil.. ufff!!!

  • Beautiful, and what great versatility from the few video clips I've seen, she does have the talent!

  • yes! good version from Diana....!

  • sorry "lover4208" but london's is the best and buble beats fitzgerald. WORD

    Mikey O

  • @TheMicrok you are crazy. Ella Fitzgerald eats this song whole. The timing in Ella's version is on point! All versions that I've heard have been great though. Buble has a nice voice, but he is by no means better than the original ladies or even men of jazz. His version of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" is okay, but it is nothing in comparison to the original version.

  • cette chanson est de toute façon magnifique , et l'interprétation de Diana Krall, la rend si sexy , si cinématographique ..superbe !

  • Ella Fitzgerald Puts Everyone to Shame on This Song. She is the ultimate jazz singer

  • Perfeito

  • Diana is a sublime entertainer. Susan is a novelty with a good voice.

  • hi,u high? s>=d .?u ok?no f,,,ing way !!!!!!!!

  • This is the BEST version of this song!

  • @mscolacoll2012 There will never be anyone that pulls this song off the way Steisand does!

  • @1HunterGatherer Thank you Hunter.. found "Lisa Akdahl Cry me a river' it's reslly beatiful and great performance Thanks again

  • Diana, Diana, I love you much...God bless you

  • It's all about the sublety and slipperiness of the voice. That's what makes jazz sexy. Looks help too!

  • oooh Yeeahh Diana so singular your voice. the version of Michael Buble its preatty good to.

  • cant compare just soak up different perfect renditions and marvel at the varied interpretations of the same notes and words all coming out wonderful.

  • פשוט נפלאה

  • Like those who have influenced Diana's style, she takes time and care to enunciate and pronounce each word with clarity. The honest delivery of style and texture of vocal tonal quality is deliberate and purposeful. The dynamics could be more expressive. The duration of sylable breadown at times does not fit the mood. All in all the song in the style adequately fullfilled the mission. Did she really cry! I didn't quite get that full impact.

  • Damn...Why haven't I ever heard of Diana Krall. What effing rock have I been living under????? She is maginificant and thank you for posting this.

  • I love watching music...

  • She is smooth..like the finest whiskey..you just have to take your time to enjoy it..

  • absolutly grand! Mariosco.

  • pure jazz....

  • I love Diana Krall. She is a great jazz singer and pianist. But this song belongs to Julie London.

  • She simply travels you to the most divine places....!!!!

  • the version that suits my taste in music best .

  • most pointless chimes ever @ 2:07

  • I rememeber when my mom used to play this song when her and my dad split up. Diana Krall is such an amazingly talented and beautiful musician.

  • Diana is certainly very talented has a naturally easy style about her jazzy phrasing, but...when Joe Cocker sings this, or Julie London sings this song, I believe them. Diana, I don't believe her. It's just too easy for her to sound "professional".

  • Nice but after Ella and Joe Pass ...

  • Diana Krall is fantastic, and so are all of her players. Anthony Wilson on guitar is one of the greatest!

    Rick

  • Love the depth of this ladies' voice. Pure jazz. Her timing and phrasing is true sweetness and the backup was great! Bravo!!

  • are you a girl or a boy

  • I LOVE IT THIS SONG!!!!

  • Wow... i just found some new music to purchase and study!

  • i don't care about Susan Boyle. Do you really think Susan had the life experience like Diana has?. It is more than "voice"

  • susan boyle is something else on this tune.

  • I have listened to a couple of Susan Boyle's version of this sing. And she may have a better "voice" than Diana, in jazz, it is about mood, timing and emotion, which is something Diana excels at. Thumbs up to Diana Krall!

  • @lgcrooks you gotta be kidding. Comparing Susan Boyle to Diana Krall ?

  • @lgcrooks Julie london did this but she wasnt the greatest singer more for looks bobby troup gets his chicks on route 66

  • @lgcrooks ---- "better voice" than Diana is not possible, and her techinique puts Susan B to shame real shame. This is a most consumate professional artist.

  • @lgcrooks Both Susan and Diana do a fine job on this song as have many others, however the late, great Julie London own it... Ooooh! that smokey voice will definitely drive any red blooded man out of his head. Latin in smooth satin... sigh!

  • @JuanGoodeye I just listened to Julie London & she was amazing ur right :)

  • Go to listen the Susan Boyle version of this song... Diana to me, is the greathest jazz singer today, but i listen now Susan, and i gonna said if his voice is better than Diana. Is incredible, but that is.

  • i cant disagree more. Diana's voice is simply more smooth, adding a touch of finesse to this song. THIS is the way it's supposed to be sung

  • @ericwan8 I think you mean you can't AGREE more.

  • not even close to Ella Fitzgerald<s version!. quite frankly, i find this boring and pointless

  • @TheNeverendingfire Yes, she just goes thru the melody with no expressivity at all.....

  • It's a very hard song

  • Class, pure class.

  • love this song

  • ...fantastica Diana! Grande!

  • I like it :) I'm from Chicago where we're all about the blues. Brilliant singer. Anyone know where I can get a CD of her? :)

  • Uh, try Walmart. I got one there

  • you can get her :) everywhere I am from Poland but I am on vacation in the USa now, I bought here all her records! :) best buy or anything else ...

  • This girl must have wings. She's an angel for sure. She can melt any man's heart with just a glance. The voice, is top of the line. To complete the package. UH, Diana I Love You !!

  • She looks like she's talking to somone, if you look at her eyes. And she sounds like she's talking to someone, if you listen to how she clips the words, just a bit.

  • Beautiful, I love it!!!
