All the wankers who hate on Ryan Adams for do a cover of this song, take note: Noel Gallagher himself gave Ryan the thumbs up for doing Wonderwall this way. Oasis has even played Ryan's rendition at several concerts so the whining Oasis "purists" who say that Ryan Adams has spoilt the song, are really only clueless idiots who have no idea what they're talking about

He doesn't play the Ryan Adams version. But the Ryan Adams version did influence Noels version. But he doesn't use the same tempo or vocal patterns. Not experienced enough with guitar to comment on the guitar parts. But these don't sound substantially different from the original acoustic versions.

ryans adams jus changed the key of the song from a capo on the second fret to the third fret and slowed it down and that is wat i think noel liked about it cause that is what i like about was he did to the song . great version in its own rite , noel is a god

thats funny whats noel and his ban up 2 these days? o yeha i forgot the are making or made album guess that went far..... maybe if his and his brother stoped fighting about music for 2 seconds and made more than 2 good albums they could compair to ryan adams... Oasis is a good group dont get me wrong ,but they could have been great if not for the greed and hatred they had .. It's about making music not about who is better or cooler or even the guy in the spot light. So sad.....

yes.. you are a really clever douchebag.. ryan and oasis are both great, but noel is on another level as a "hit" melody writer . Ryan will never write the kind of instant classics, that oasis has produced in the early years. "supersonic, live forever, slide away, rock&roll star, some might say, cast no shadow, champagne supernova".. i could go on and on..

I thought it was impossible to make a cover version of this song, which was worth listening to, but this one is great even though it 's very far from the original... Maybe that 's why it's so great..
