if you mean by freeze, that eventually the hard drive dies and the player no longer works, you won't have to worry about that with the pink flash Zunes (or any colored flash-based Zune) or the Zune HD's, since they don't use hard drives (hard drives have moving parts that eventually break down), you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
u no that if u hold down the back button and hold down the down button at the same time it TURNS OFF ur zune not just put it asleep when u hold down the play button hope that was helpful!!!!

It was the only Zune that was shiny on the front at the time. Now there's the shiny blue flash zune, and the black Zune 120 and flash are shiny on the front. All the rest were matte.

It's both clicking the four d-pad buttons (up, down, left and right) and scrolling left and right. So it's both a touchpad and a D-pad. It's awesome, and I love it way more than any touchscreen device out there.
I'd say get the 80gb if u need more than 4/8 gb or u want a Bigger screen. I think the 80gb is a little bit better though 'cause it's still very small and has a huge good-quality screen. Get the 4/8gb if u can't really afford the 80gb, you don't want to carry a bigger device and u can't take care of a hard drive player, but get the 80gb if u want a little bit of a better experience.
I only have the 8gb and 80, I used the 30gb for a year, and upgraded. I got the 8gb for a second Zune, to go in my car when I get it, and for a backup (like to throw in my bag and take with me for later). Well, it makes the collage from your music collection, so if your collection is too small, it won't work. Also, you may want to try reinstalling the Zune software.

I would recommend this player. I like how some people are more open than others, mostly it's just the Zune fans and the Ipod fans, but when the Ipod Fans say something like "Ipods rule and Zune sucks" is when the Zune fans usually respond in the same way about Zune. That's the reason people aren't seeing the reason for one. If they had a subscription service, had an 80GB hard drive, had a few control buttons and ran 3rd party apps without hacking, then it would be a good choice, but the way it is now is not worth purchasing.
The reason the text is larger than normal is for a good reason- It's a lot easier to use and you don't have to squint or anything like that. Plus, you can glance at it quickly to get to things because of how easy it is to see the text

thanks, it's coming on wednesday. I got the green 8gb and im excited as ever. I had a bad experience with the ipod, and know the zune will be better. I might post the unboxing, but probably not.

yah im gettin an 80g in the mail with engravings its gonna be sweet im not saying anything bad about ipod mad respect for the ipod lovers but i dont like it as much as the zune because the ipods crash to much and my zune has never crashed and i dont have an itouch or whatever but they do cost alot which is the stupid thing and all u ipod retards that dis zunes if u dont like it dont sit there and complain about it go get a life lol im sure u can find something better to do with ur time

yeah the zune has very beutifal colors but i still wanna get the ipod touch because i like nice things and it looks really cool but i think i might get the zune because u can do way better stuff like share vids pics and music and it just has really beutifal colors.and it's really and i think everyone can relate 2 an issue like this.

I would recommend this player. I like how some people are more open than others, mostly it's just the Zune fans and the Ipod fans, but when the Ipod Fans say something like "Ipods rule and Zune sucks" is when the Zune fans usually respond in the same way about Zune. Like yesterday, a kid I know, (his name is cody Glaiel) told me that Zunes suck, because he saw me and a friend sharing songs, he doesn't even know anything about it.

That's the reason people aren't seeing the reason for one. If they had a subscription service, had an 80GB hard drive, had a few control buttons and ran 3rd party apps without hacking, then it would be a good choice, but the way it is now is not worth purchasing.

The reason the text is larger than normal is for a good reason- It's a lot easier to use and you don't have to squint or anything like that. Plus, you can glance at it quickly to get to things because of how easy it is to see the text
