  • haha thats cool, i figured it was something like that

  • ... ?

  • Your comment reminded me that this morning I nearly took Catcher to work with me today to re-read as I'd just finished my last book, then thought 'Nah...".

When read it, I just didn't... "get it?" It frustrates me that I don't know why that's the case, too. I read it outside of an academic setting and expected so much from it (I was going through a "Zeke, fuck Douglas Coupland, you must read The Greats!" phase) yet was so disappointed.

    Why don't I get it?

IT FEELS LIKE I'M MISSING OUT!

  • When I read it a few years ago it resonated because of the kids character. He was such an unconventional hero. In so many ways he was written as the bad guy, but by portraying his character so honestly he became more relateable than perhaps any other protagonist I had encountered. But I haven't read it since sophomore year so I'm not really sure.

  • I don't know about the hair. i like your old doo better...

  • haha im trying to keep it short, the fro was getting old for me. this is my hair long now.

  • Oh well i geuss i can get used to the change. lol!
